Morning Ladies
Just a quick pop in before all chaos starts. Got shopping to do this morning and then its decorating (lounge/dining room) classed as one room but really its two. Not had much time to catch up with posts as any free time I've had I have tried to spend on Sleeping Beauty. Sorry I didn't post a pic at the end of page 7 but you will have to wait now until page 8 is complete as I only like to post pics of completed pages - perhaps this is one of the funny little things I do.
Make the most of this lovely weather as this is probably our summer. Enjoy the tennis if thats your thing - I'm not really bothered about it but I must admit I am starting to warm to Andy.
Looking forward to catching up with you all soon. Just got a glimpse of your heart sweetcarer and I think it looks brilliant and is so appropriate.
Take care everyone

PS Forgot to add - page 8 is the final one of Sleeping Beauty. :j:j:jSPC NO 041STARTED SW 04/14 - TARGET 05/16 - TOTAL LOSS 10ST 3.5LBS :dance:0 -
I just wanted to say that you have inspired me to go back to cross-stitching. I have a WIP that I've been working on (very) intermittently for the last 20 years - so it's about time I finished it. Although I followed some of your links and have bought two new kits. Maybe that's why it's taken me so long to finish my other one!
Does anyone have a longer standing WIP? Can anyone top 20 years?14 projects in 2014: 3/140 -
morning all
woke up to a really nice email, lady from polly and katie is sorry ive had so much trouble with the kit and is going to send me extra threads out to get it finished. she said shed glad i wrote to her and will look into some of my suggestions and queries and see how she can address them.:T
sweetcarer that heart is just perfect, it sums up why youve stitched them all beautifully.

hey everyone!
I haven't updated in AGES, but just wanted to let you know that the Great Wall has come on leaps and bounds - should be putting the final stitches in tonight! So I'll post a picture when it's done
Then I'll be making a start on my next project, this one:

I have little willpower anyway (and my cat sits on my sewing, think it's his way of saying "don't sew, cuddles instead") so ordered.
Hopefully finish work early(ish) and get back for the end of the Murray game.0 -

They all look lovely. I always enjoy when you post photos before and after BS - thank you0 -
Just popping in very quickly. Some of you have asked about my contact with dmc re the magic aida. I was going to call but when I looked at the finished oiece I can longer see the lines - YAY. I was so annoyed when the lines didn't wash out that I threw it jn the conservatory. It looks as if the sun has faded the lines. Just need to try to wash it again now and get the creases out. Still not happy but not going to stress myself over it.
Off to my first WI meeting tonight. Will, update you all tomorrow.
Great news although I think most of us will be wary of using this product in future0
