Only on quick girls, off to work soon, forgot to set alarm, woke up 15mins later than normal, so in theory get to work in time but no stitching time before work - boo hoo.
Wanted to wish you all a happy independence day in America - as you know hubby is american. I have not finished my Sandy Hook for the hospital but I have stopped at an appropriate point and thought I share it with you - hopefully finish tonight or by weekend.
Have a nice day!

this is the email ive sent, now i've stitched as much as i can.
I've tried to be as polite and restrained as i can.
I forgot to point out i had read and used the correct amount of threads so i bet i get told ive done that;)I hope you can help me i'm having difficulties finishing your "garden bench" kit. I received this kit and was really looking forward to stitching it but have hit on several problems.
Firstly when sorting the colours there was no indication of how many of each thread i should have so it was down to guess work and trying to match the threads up by the colour name and the picture on the front of the packaging.
I believe i may have mixed up cream and light beige as i have 4 lengths of the colour i thought was beige left.
but i have been unable to finish the kit off as i ran out of several colours
my table only has one leg - this may be my fault if i mixed up those two shades as above.
i ran out of brown so still have two complete rows of crosses to do on the length of the underside of the bench as well as the back stitching.
I ran out of light brown so have six more stitches to do on the back of the bench as well as the back stitching on the table.
I ran out of mid gold half way through the first hanging basket
I ran out of blue before i could start the second hanging basket
And i have no sage green left to do the back stitch on the cushion.
May i suggest that you put a note in to say how many of each thread there are of each colour as a lot of the shades are very similar so it is almost impossible to tell them apart.
Has anyone else reported a problem with running out of threads? I consider myself quite a tidy stitcher, i don't waste threads and don't trail long ends or knot so i'm at a loss as to know how this could occur.
the problems of the lack of threads aside i did enjoy making the embellishments and doing the kit i found the charts easy to follow but i would not be able to recommend them to anyone as i wouldn't want another stitcher to struggle and get as frustrated as i have. I cant now finish this kit until i've got the correct threads to do it.
The pot of flowers on the cover photo appears to be of two shades - pink and white, but the chart only instructs to do pink stitches is this a trick of the camera or was the chart changed?
I look forward to hearing from you on this matter
camera batteries are on charge so i may post a picture of it later.SPC~12 ot 124

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say that your thread has inspired me to pick up my x-stitching again after months of doing nothing!
I'm currently working on French Flower Shop by a company called Sunset. I have to say that in all my 20 odd years of stitching I have never dreaded stitching so much! The chart (2 pages) is so busy and if it weren't for the fact that it's about 2/3rds completed I would seriously give up!!! I am determined however to continue and complete the piece because it will look lovely when (when) it's finished and framed!
Loving all the photos of your work

mrs-moneypenny, great progress on titanic. I understand now why you pick it up and put it down... All that blue. Not very good about that kit! How can they supply you a kit without enough thread  I hope you get a reply.
sweetcarer, your bear is beautiful, looks very delicateLove your American Heart.
FOS, lovely lizzie kate design
Shelly, that christmas design is really coming along! I think I mentioned before but I love how bright it is
chicky, great update... What is the final size of the piece?
Maria, love your finished Bella pieces. But how stunning is the dove one! Was that the one in a magazine? It looks amazing!
Not done ANYTHING since my last update. Only because work is mad and they are making it impossible for me to have all my true time/days offI will finish this heart in the coming weeks because I need to make a card for the 1st Aug!
