I recognise this from Facebook. I cross stitch and I'm not ashamed of it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I wondered if any of you were in any of the Facebook groups.
  • I managed to finish all my coasters for the charity craft sale, so that is all the plastic items done (keyrings, bottle openers, fridge magnets and coasters).

Started on the wee felt stockings. Bought these ready made from ebay and am adding a cross stitched piece on the front. I am really enjoying these ones, but it is 4.30am and I know I should go to bed, but I don't want to....lol
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)

Or, hope you don't mind b_e_g but I bought a Sleeping Beauty kit from ebay as I loved yours so much.:o

Not sure which one to do first.

Hope you enjoy stitching her as much as I did. I was over the moon with the end result. She really puts the finishing touch to our revamped bedroom.

Looking forward to seeing your progress pics. ;)

I should have mentioned the Nativity uses two full skeins of black :)

That's ok - don't think I will use it all up today. Will be able to pick another one up during the week. Might have some full skeins of Anchor black but I better not mix them just in case.

Going to try Anchor 301 for the yellow to see how that works out. I think it will be quite subtle (hopefully not too subtle though) :D.

I want my stitching bug to return! It's so annoying. I've got some lovely Christmas kits I could be getting on with.

Is it worth trying a teeny weeny xmas card just to try and kick the stitchy bug into action.

Don't stop popping into the Cafe though - we love to hear how you are getting on.

I very nearly got up at 4.00 am this morning as I couldn't sleep and wondered about doing some stitching but I decided against it.

Hope all goes well with the craft sale. Looking forward to seeing the felt stockings.

Ohhhh, I must have missed the pictures of Sleeping Beauty
  • I managed to do a couple of hours cross stitch but with achy arms

Where is the time going, I keep looking at the calendar and thinking I have loads of time and then the next time I look we are over half way though October and I still haven't finished the Christmas stocking! If anyone finds a spare month for sale on any of the cross stitching sites please let me know as I may buy a couple of them! :rotfl:

DH wants to go and see the NFL tour today and promised I would go with him so I don't think I will get too much stitching done as that is going to finish me off I think!

Completely off topic here - On one of the other threads people have been mentioning snow due within the next couple of weeks, does anyone here know any more about it?

I'm not sure where Sunday is disappearing too but I suppose getting up late had something to do with it! I was full of good intentions as OH's alarm went off at 6.15am but unfortunately my duvet was far too tempting over a cuppa and getting up.

I didn't manage any stitching yesterday as we ended up enjoying the last day of our holiday going to the cinema again. We saw Captain Phillips which I didn't enjoy as much as Rush (which we saw the other day) but it was still good and Tom Hanks put in another fantastic performance. I do like the look of One Chance which opens next week (its about Paul Potts, winner of Britain's Got Talent in 2007) but the reviews don't rate it very high.

Its very wet where I am today so my washing which was drying nicely when I went out yesterday was rather wet when I got home and so its been spun and put back on the line this morning only for another prolonged heavy shower to mean its required another spin and now its in the dryer.

I don't have any plans for this afternoon other than relaxing so suspect I shall catch up on tv and do a bit of stitching :j

    Have a lovely afternoon all.
