I'm gonna give the Christmas exchange a miss this year. My mojo is still missing. I've not done any cross stitch in months. I go to my stitchy meet on a Friday and just sit and chat! I'm sure they'll ban me soon! On the plus side I've been reading loads. Got into ordering lots of books from the library and working my way through those. Think I've got 10 out at the moment and two to collect!

Had a bit of a rough time at home recently too. My hubby had a bike accident and although he wasn't hurt-thank goodness-the bike was a write off. Less than a week after that, he collapsed (unrelated) and his glasses cut his face badly. It's healing really well, but he needs to have a 24 hour heart monitor soon to see if everything is ok. They think it could be an irregular heartbeat.

I'm quite stressed and feel quite overwhelmed with things at times. I apologise to anyone who I should've been in touch with and I hope you understand.

Sorry to hear Soulie is back in hospital again. Please update us if anyone hears how she's doing. I don't have Facebook, so I miss out on some news posted on there.

I really hope my stitchy bug returns soon. I miss it and I feel like I'm wasting so much time, but I just don't feel inspired at all. Not even the thought of starting something new is making me feel like picking up a needle. But I promise to keep up to date in here and I'm sure you wonderful people will soon help me get back on track!

Louise - enjoy your little break. Fabric arrived for Nativity today and its really sparkly :j. Would love to start it tonight but I don't think it would be wise as I'm a bit tired. Looking forward to seeing your 'Mother and Child'.

Ruth_honey - lovely to see you back in the Cafe. Sorry to hear that you and your hubby have had a bit of tough time. Hope things pick up and that stitching mojo returns soon.

Sorry to post again but I've just managed to complete my subscription to Just Cross Stitch - realised that hubby uses Chrome and sometimes systems don't like it. Signed on using Explorer and subscription went through no problem.

Off to spend many happy hours looking through the magazines now.

Thanks guys, i'm pleased I didn't wait as I know i'd kick myself later on. One thing I realised I will have all the threads for Dreams of Atlantis :eek: and all the other projects I've wanted to do but never had the right colours Just need to finish BD now :rotfl:

ETA I have outlined the upstairs windows, the pavement and some of the upper brickwork. Need to do the flowers and foliage on the top right balcony then the rest of the brickwork, finally the outlining of the doors and windows. Have another day at home today but must do some ironing and wash the floors before I start stitching as otherwise I will get comfy and won't want to move!
