I agree. I think they should at least be allowed to try. Just because she has no interest in it, doesn't mean the girls won't want to have a go and with xmas round the corner, it would be a good opportunity for them to learn a new craft.

FOS - I've pm'd you my details for the Christmas exchange. Re the electronic subscription, it for 6 isues and includes the Christmas Ornament issue and 2 years of backissues.

Mrs MilkybarKid - thanks for the info re GoodNotes app, unfortunately I don't have an ipad and the app doesn't run on android. I'm sure there must be something similar just haven't found it yet.

MOS - my hubby is going to pay for the subscription for me for our anniversary (26 years of Thursday). I think it's a bargain at under £13.

FE - did you stitch or tidy? I've managed a bit of each today. Cleaned main bathroom and done background on rock symbol.

Mrs TM - hope you managed your charity shop purchases. What did you get ? Pictures gratefully received.

Firefly - your sampler is coming along great.

Coxy - what count were you intending doing the designs on? I know my Cubs would struggle but 10+ year old girls should be ok. Could you simplify them by using variagated thread?

nmm - well done kn completing page 10/16. You've done that last page really quickly. Looking good.

I managed to get 11 patterns, all with thread, but two missing aida cloth. I'm unpicking the stitches on two of the pieces of cloth because I won't be using those patterns.

I'll try to take photos of things after dinner (aka, after the table is clean enough to 'show off' ). I'll probably do two posts with photos, one with patterns I'll be doing, and the other with the patterns that I won't be doing and that are 'up for grabs.' Unpicking these two pieces (barely anything done, thank goodness!) is a right pain in the you know where. Whomever did them tied knots all over the back of the work and there are threads going everywhere! No rhyme or reason as to the order of stitches, plus they were pulled waaaayyyy too tight! Worked on them two hours already and I think I've cleared around 2 square inches of stitches...

I need to cross stitch a couple baby bibs and baby vests soon as well.
