I have found some beautiful designs on the site and have saved all the previous issues to my laptop. So many lovely designs and so little time

For anyone tempted but undecided the free trial app from the Apple store allows you to preview the current and recent issues including the fabulous Christmas Ornaments issue

Sadly as MOS says there isn't an app for more time to stitch

Everyone has been stitching like mad, it sounds like. After I finished my chores today, I spent the rest of the day stitching my reindeer. As soon as I'm not counted as a newbie, I'll post pictures. I think he is going to be adorable, but of course, since I designed him, I'm prejudiced. Tomorrow I don't have any real chores (other than dinner and taking care of my father-in-law) so I should get a bunch done on my deer. I'm still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that stitching is "work". I love to do it, and have done it for fun for what feels like forever. If I "work" all day, I feel like I've been goofing off. Gotta work on my mindset.

It must be really hard not to get distracted by other things when stitching is your job. Does it become a chore in itself when it's your job or do uou still enjoy it as much? When did you turn you're hobby into a job? Sorry to be nosey.

Neither have yet been claimed, but I can put you down for it/them. :)
The trade or not is up to you, but I'd love to see what you have to offer if it isn't too cheeky of me to say so. :o

Yes please :):T I will have a nose through my stash bits and see what I have that I know I won't stitch. :D

MOS - did you have any problems subscribing? I'm entering all of the details including csrd number and the site just sits there doing nothing.

Hi Alisb, I didn't have any problems with the subscription at all. How odd that it's playing up.

I need to cross stitch a couple baby bibs and baby vests soon as well. ;)

OMG! Mrs T_M Congratulations!!!!:j I haven't been on the TTC thread for a while so popped in the check after your post. SO very Happy for you. It''s all that good Karma from doing those daily lists...I am sure the same thing happened to Becca;)

FOS - I am glad you liked the card I sent you last year. I think this year (now I have had some practice) I would attempt something a litle more ambitious.....I am very tempted:D.

Mrs Moneypenny - I love your stocking. Will you be keeping it for your home or gifting it?

afm. I stayed up till the wee small hours finishing the birth sampler last night s my mum could take it with her today. I have taken a picture but won't post until the couple receive it just on the small chance they stalk my posts:rotfl:

    Hi ladies.

    Rhaben. Welcome to the thread!

Ailsb. Glad everything went well for you at the hospital. Nice update of the RPS design, look forward to seeing more updates.

Salfordgirl. Welcome to you too! Nice finishes. Even though I am a huge fan of Tigers I really like the black and white dog, very cute and it seems that it's about to pop it's head out of the fabric to have a nosey at what's going on! :D

Louise. The Nativity poem is lovely, the sparkly fabric sets it off a treat.
Thanks for commenting about the woman on the benefits documentary last night, I just knew I recognised her from somewhere but couldn't put my finger on where I had seen her! If there's nothing else on I'm interested in I listen/watch JK :o while stitching in the afternoons.

    Firefly. Lovely finish.

PM2326. Nice progress on the Panda, it's coming along great.

NMM. Nice BD progress. At the rate you are going he will be finished in no time.

MrsTM. Wow! What a brilliant CS find and cheap too! Like you say, worth it just for the fabric and threads. How generous of you to pass on the charts and though I am tempted by one of them I will resist :D

    MOS. Very nice update.

Mrsmp. Lovely stocking progress, look forward to more updates on it.

    As for me.
Really wanted to stitch over the weekend but felt unwell on friday morning when I got up and only yesterday did I start to feel better.
I got some done yesterday afternoon and still really enjoying stitching on the smaller count fabric.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
  • I Didn't twig from your subtle hint mrsT_M so congratulations from me as well. such lovely news.

firefly the plan is to gift the stocking to a special friend who i think/hope will love it. but i dont think it will be completed in time for this chrsitmas. ive jsut spent 2 hours and all ive done is finshed the rainbow and put one chrsitmas tree in place. but i have already got her rather a lot stashed away for her birthday and christmas this year so it wont be the end of the world if it doesnt get completed in time.

Shelly knowing your love of tigers im guessing which one youre trying to resist

hope all are well, must go and do something.
