Jem it is not normal to eat nothing at all for days on end. Please see your doctor. Are you drinking enough?
I had to google this since I have never heard of it.

When you say you can't eat Jem, what do you mean? You don't fancy it, or you can't actually bring yourself to put it in your mouth? There is a large thread on the virtual hypnoband on the Mumsnet forum, might be worth having a look at it to see if other people have the same issue. http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk/big_slim_whatever_weight_loss_club/1462504-Virtual-Gastric-Band-Hypnosis-App

Jem: I had a virtual gastroband done a few years ago and certainly went off food for a bit - not completely like you, but a few mouthfuls were enough. It wore off pretty quickly though and I couldn't afford to keep going back. Not eating at all can't be right and I suggest you go back and ask whoever did it to loosen the band a bit. If it worked one way, it should work the other.

Lyn: how awful to hear your DD crying on the phone, you must feel so helpless. We know this will pass but I guess your DD is in no state take that on board. Pray that the midwife will be able to help.

This is a displacement activity. My real aim today is to see the bottom of the ironing basket. Unfortunately the basket was full ages ago and there is a sizeable mountain of dry washing on the floor as well. Silly really because I quite enjoy ironing once I take the plunge. Which will be any moment now.

Weather here today? Dark, Damp and Dismal.

Cleared up here now and feels a teeny bit like early Spring. Grey skies but brighter grey than usual. So sad watching the poor folk on Sky News in the floods... I hope the bloody govt pay their hotel bills. I notice most seem to blame the lack of dredging and not the weather.

Morning all, been very busy already this morning. Took mum shopping with me to aldi lidl and then lastly wilco and mr s. We took our time and mum enjoyed being out for a little while. We even treated ourselves to a bunch of 10 roses from aldi for £2. They are assorted colours but look and smell divine.

Have a quick tidy up to do then its off to work. Have prepared tea for OH and DD, its a fishcake with home made chips and mushy peas. Me well I have a gluten free bread with cheese spread.

My Disney order has just arrived, its a finding nemo shower curtain and bath mat. I had free postage so new funky Disney bathroom for under £10. Not sure my husband is going to be so enthusiastic but hey, it will grow on him!!

    Take care all x

  • Message from the new Mum they put some 'white noise' on last night and he slept for 2 x 3 hour and 1 x 2 hour periods, they are both feeling a lot better this morning!!! Hopefully Ezra will have gained weight and the midwife will be able to reassure them all is well and leave them much happier with things. She's asked if I can go down Wednesday to Thursday next week which I'll do willingly. Her DH goies back to work on Monday but is only 2 minutes walk from where they live so will pop back at lunchtime and give her a break then, hopefully things are improving. Thanks again for all your support, it's much appreciated, Lyn xxx.
