Shegar, I know you don't have ME but you did find the Kelp helped you a lot, so wanted to tell you this - as well as anybody in here with ME.
I was at dentist 3 times in a week recently. The last time I had an odd reaction to the jab - my hair stood on end, I felt like I was choking, and I had chills and goosebumps all over. I didn't say anything just got on with the filling - but I felt very hyper for a few hours, and the next morning when I got up, I found I have all the symptoms of ME back. The kelp isn't helping. Since then I'm back in dying slug mode, just every bit as bad as i was pre-kelp.

So sorry you are feeling bad again Mardatha. Maybe the effects of the jab will wear off in a few days and you will be back to where you were.

I am still doing well on the Kelp.

It has to be something the dentist jabs triggered. Maybe the ME wasn't away but just hit on the head a bit. Am still hoping its a reaction and will settle but right now it doesn't look like it. Am not sure about taking 2 kelp a day, would need see how much salt that involves.

Mar it might just be the jab knocking the kelp. I'm sure once the effects wear off the kelp will kick in again.

I'm absolutely shattered went food shopping with ds2 after school, but decided to try and walk without the stick. Took the bus to school instead of walking. But worth spending the money just being able to walk even if I was limping. Made really easy tea of enchiladas. Pack being sold cheap, its one of those add mince things. Supposed to be £2.99 instead of 99p.
It was really nice, and we shared a cheap bar of chovolate afterwards tucked under the, cover.

Tomorow I'm baking again, going to attempt to make wraps tomorow or maybe buy a shank for soup. Not sure yet.

I've found local anesthetics really knock me back, generally its 6 to 8 weeks before I'm back to the pre-anesthetic level. In particular adrenaline anesthetics seem have the most devastating effect on me. Good news is that the setback doesn't last forever, though it seems like it at the time. There is quite a difference between the anesthetic effects and an actual ME relapse, largely in the relatively faster bounce back time, my usual relapse recovery tends to be very long and gradual.

Mardatha, that isn't a normal reaction to the 'caines that dentists use and you should let him know. The choking could be an early trigger for anaphalactic shock. I had a racing heart the last time I had the novocaine for a filling but that was because I requested "enough to knock out a baby elephant" because I know that I burn through the stuff.

Mar, the injections contain adrenaline and I always got a strange reaction to them. My dentist changed me to adrenaline-free injections, you need to tell the dentist and ask for adrenaline-free injections

morning toughies - Mar that sounds really scary and definitely not right, I agree with the others I think you should call the dentist and explain now and then he can be prepared if you need anything in future. Its also worth logging with your GP so he can note it on your file, that kind of information saves lives in emergency situations :)

I am feeling very slug like this week, I didnt rest as much as I usually do at the weekend and am paying the price now. Loads happening this week as well including a scary visit from DLA to discuss DS15 and whether they will begin paying him direct.

    Morning all

Possession - what a gorgeous doggie! I do hope they settle well together (and with the bunnies).

Another dank and dark morning and it's raining again.....what a surprise. Im desperate to get out in the garden and start digging. I treated my self to a walk in green house from wllkos, it's only the plastic covered one but at £39 it was a bargain (even better that I used £10 worth of survey vouchers to get it to £29). It's 6'x4' with a small amount of staging on one side. Got all my seeds too so need to sit and work out when to start everything off.

More roofers coming today to give quotes. Luckily, DH is very knowledgeable about most aspects of building and roofing due to his work in the insurance industry and having worked for a building compnay for years and having had a dad in the trade I know quite a lot of the twaddle they try and blither on about too. The last bloke was very honest with us when he realised we knew what we were talking about, I do hate being spoken to like I'm an ignorant little lady.

Need to shop today, I'm out of veg, frozen and fresh and there's no fruit left!

Eta. Kidcat, hope the DLA visit goes ok.
