That's gorgeous Grandma, you clever thing. Is it difficult working with denim? You should be really proud.

Thank you candlelight.
The most difficult bit was where I joined the handle at the top because there was not enough fabric to make it in one and I wanted a long strap in case I needed to carry it across my body when I need my hands free for carrying something else. That would mainly be if I was out somewhere though. I ended up stitching as far as the join the resuming stitching after it. The rest was fairly easy but I did sew a bit slower near any bumpy bits.
There are tons of recycling projects on pinterest.0 -
Thank you for that Grandma.
I am making some needle cases at the moment for our local Hospice shop. I try to make small things for them because they don't have to charge much for them, and every little helps.
I love the bag though, perhaps you will show us the next one when it is finished.

Gosh you're a talented lot when it comes to making beautiful things, clever, clever ladies, that's what you are!!! Dentist visit was OK right up until the end, he'd taken some routine exrays and just as I went to stand up he said, oh, sit down again please, there's a little patch of damage under a very old filling so we'll have to do a repair! Oh well, it must be at least 25 years old, so I can't complain too much can I? Going again at the end of February to be filled!!!
Walking the boy this afternoon I came across the very first patch of snowdrops in bloom and a little further along the lane in a sheltered and sunny spot is a camellia bush covered in beautiful pale pink double flowers, so pretty, so I think here at least spring is beginning, just in a very small way but how much it gave me a lift to see the snowdrops, isn't mother nature clever?
