Sorry to hear about your Mum Nutty, could it be SiL who is putting the brakes on your brother - or is she someone who would respond to a quiet word to get him involved?

For everyone with a fleece stash and a bit of time on their hands - this FB lady is after some chicken coats - can anyone help by making a few using the diagram? I am going to make some, I have a few old fleece jackets I can cut up.

Nutty - hope your mum is feeling a little better today

Possession - thankfully my teeth seem ok at the moment, hoping the interview went well and that your DH has managed to relax now its over,

grandma - love the bag, absolutely gorgeous

Mrs Chip - am I ok to share the link for the hens jackets, I have a friend who may be willing to have a go?

MrsLW - ooooh dental visit and work you are soooo brave :)

Shegar - how are things shaping up for you? Hope you are ok.

Its been a quiet week here and I have managed to get some stuff sorted through, today I went through two boxes of paperwork and sorted out the rubbish.
Am managing to keep on top of preparaion and planning at the moment, which really does help. Things will get difficult over coming weeks though as appointments are flying in and some are at difficult times, like 9.30 in the morning, and they are 20 miles away. I dont get DS9 to school until 9am so I am worried I wont make it through city traffic and find parking in 30 minutes.

Hi Kidcat - I think it's ok, the lady concerned has shared to her friends, who have shared on (inc to me!). I will have to get her contact details via 'my' friend, will check it's ok and let you know where they need to go!

Burtha have you seen a doctor? If not please go.

Thank you everyone for your kind words about my bag. I am going to try repurposing a number of different kinds of clothing this year. I have quite a few men's shirts so will be hunting for ideas soon

Hi all, SDG love the knitting, I am not that compitant at it, I can knit a scarf tho!! Grandma247, the bag is lovely. I though it was going to be a skirt made from a pair of jeans at first!!

Well mum has been discharged and is resting at her own home. She has an artery to the heart that has muscle spasms. They are doing a stress test with dye in the blood stream so they can pin point exactly where - it is in the left ventrical but they cant work out exactly which part. The pain is when the muscles go hey wire and the blood has to do a divertion through another vein and then into the heart. Can you tell I was spoken to by a doctor!! Eldest DD went and got my mum, and then settled her in. I went to take the papers to her this morning and she requested a trip to aldi, as she needed some milk. So we went early and used the first of the £5 vouchers I got today. I have another one for next week, if I find any more papers in the shop today I will womble them for anyone who needs one.
We have no gas here as they have decided to dig the road up and replace all the major piping with plastic pipes. So had to resort to using the little electric fire in the lounge, not ideal.

ALDI VOUCHER IS IN THE MIRROR TODAY, some other useful % discount ones too, including veg burgers, furniture polish, cheese, fish cakes.

Well washing to do, and housework to do. Then work at lunch until 1015pm. Take care all, and thankyou again for the kind words x
