Arrgh - missed line 10 from the recipe!!!
10. Form into balls and place into several deep baking dishes and roast in a hot oven for approx. 30 - 40 minutes.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
kez dont let it rile you. Someone is so obviously on a power trip. Enjoy the distance from silly games eh? Leave them to it0

You are well rid of the lot of them and let them stew in their own incompetent and petty juice. on your behalf.
Just been into town to get a replacement receipt so dd can get electronic gadget fixed and treated ourselves to a posh sandwich and salad with a pot of tea.
Flat pack bookcase has arrived for her bedroom so unless we can con er persuade DH to help we should be in for a fun time putting it together.
Managed to get pack of meat from butcher this morning so having pork steaks in gravy with mash and green veg tonight.
Family funeral next Tuesday which is also DH's birthday so looks like a long day's driving and possible stay in B&B."This site is addictive!"
Wooligan 2 squares for smoky - 3 squares for HTA

KEZLOU.......How horrible some people are, you are definetly better off without them , as its only happened today you are feeling very raw right now , but give it a week or so and you will know you are better off away from them, not fair though......
Been lovely sunny blue skies day here , I think its a wee bit chilly at 9 degrees............BUT more rain is forecasted this week, just what we dont want..........
FUDDLE .....Glad your new caring role is ok for you......
KIDCAT......I do feel for you with your teeth problems and hope the swelling soon go down , I use to have lots of tooth problems when I was younger , thankfully I go to the dentist every 6 months and seem to be ok, but an absess is so painfully, I expect your dentist will give you some more anti biotics.........
Right off to get some tea sorted , catch you all later.........Sheila0 -
thanks everyone
I am still upset but at the same time i feel relieved. I was due to three meetings this week and since i've sent the message i feel massive relief.
Its the kids i feel sorry for, they children are my children's friends and have been for a long time. But thats life at least now i can concentrate on them and making our lives better!
Can't wait till tomorrow, going to make some foccacia bread, ah peace.
just put the sausages in for tea, were having toad in the hole mash and veggies. don't feel like cooking instead i want a giant bowl of ice cream with fudge sauce. naughty i know0 -
Kez - that's ridiculous, you're quite obviously well shot of the whole *insert rude word of your own choice* lot of them. Just because your kids are mainstream doesn't remove your right to voice an opinion or ask if things would be helpful/useful - I've a foot in both camps, the kids are mainstream but access holiday stay and play through special education and my dad was a special needs head for umpteen years. Sometimes a different perspective can be just what you need, whether it is from a mainstream parent regarding special school education or vice versa.
I've been at a meeting with my own parent carer forum today, fortunately we've had none of that sort of nonsense or I'd not bother - my time is too precious for that.
DD got her loan communicator on Thursday (after a bit of a kerfuffle over a faulty charge unit) and is now up and running, pressing buttons galore and learning where everything is, in amongst that though we've had some lovely in context words and short sentences. Not looking forward to the loan period being up in just over a couple of weeks and having to wait for funding to come through for her own - just hope they can manage to pull their fingers out.
Not much OS going on here at the moment (even had readymade pizza for tea tonight, the shame of it!!) but too busy just getting through everything so, so what!
Kidcat - hope the dentist went ok today - you have my sympathies, I'm not great at the dentist myself- hugs X
Hope everyone else ok - Hugs X0 -
Stilty - are you doing your own fund raising towards the communication device too? I'd love to make a donation"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
