Princess the aldi voucher in the mirror, it is always the last Thursday in the month, so not this week but next. If you get 2 papers you can use it for 2 weeks shopping as long as you go by the following Thursday.
This morning I booked my mums sun holiday, they are going to Skegness. She goes with another friend who is widowed, so they support each other. I am so proud that she can still go away, as my parents always enjoyed a holiday.
OH took me to the cash and carry, we have borrowed a card but have been able to get our own. Got some catering size things, but I made sure I worked out the regular size price comparison. Think we may have to go every couple of months.
Mrs LW I like to do bubble n squeak with anything left over from a roast, along with a couple slices of spam. yum yumBSC member 137

Woke up to thick ice which has only just melted, it was a lovely sight
been on the this week and I've reduced portion sizes dramatically.
Were trying to reduce our consumption overall. We turn things off by the wall. I've tried washing on 30 degrees but the clothes still smell of ds2 accidents
I washed by hand for months, the worst was draining and drying. Took blumming ages. Especially work clothes and bedding.
we've spent the weekend indoors ds2 smacked me in the face yesterday. I'm ashamed to say I lost my temper and really shouted at him.his tempers getting worse and he exploded yesterday. So he was banned off the consoles, no.£1 cinema showing, nothing.
I feel incredibly guilty about punishing him but I can't allow violence. Today we had another chat about consequeces. Showed him my bust swollen lip and bruised eye and nose.
This first hes exploded so violently towards me in months, normally he stomps on the stairs trashes his room. But never to this extentsorry everyone just in shock.
Pink d you are incredibly brave wonderful woman0 -
I cleared out my wardrobe when I lost 4 stone, I took everything to the cash for clothes place, so made a few quid, I then bought 5 dresses & apart from a couple of cardies & some underwear that's all the clothes I have. It makes it really easy for getting ready in the morning, I just wear the dresses in rotation.

afternoon toughies
Kez - you have to set boundaries and giving a ban is perfectly acceptable. I think you need to look at what has happened to cause him to be so violent this week and see if you can identify the triggers and find a way to manage them. If you can help him self identify the warning signs he may be able to take himself off to calm or you can try to find something he can do to let out his frustration in a safe manner where he wont hurt himself or others.
I have to say I havent seen meat prices rise here yet, Ald! still have mince for £2 and the meat offers are usually very good. I am inclined to buy meat roasts in Makro as it works out so much cheaper than supermarkets.
I visited the dentist on Friday and he agreed it was badly infected and gave me antibiotics, but warned me if they upset my stomach I had to stop taking them immediately. By Friday night my stomach was very upset indeed so I have had to stop the medicine. I am due to visit the specialist tomorrow anyway to sort out the plan for my treatment and sedation so I will hopefully get replacement medicine there.
Its homework hell day here again, DS9 is refusing to do his (school work is for school, home is not for work!) and DD7 has the usual nightmare types of homework - construct an object from 3d shapes, write a book review - to which she looked blankly at me, turns out they have never done a book review, seen a book review or even talked about them. SCo it seems I am supposed to magically summon up 3d shapes whilst teaching her what a book review is and how to write one.
I have managed to get all the washing done and dried ready for the week, just need to iron later and everyone has had roast dinner already.
My parents have rang and complained I am never in when they visit and that they dont see why I am so busy, I hung up. Then I cried, I know I am feeling rubbish with this infection but even so it really upset me. OH has said he will speak to them next time they ring and point out that as they only ever had one child who had no additional needs he doesnt think they are in a position to comment.
Mardatha - spin dryers, a friend had one a while back and she sent it back as she felt it was not getting things as "spun" as she has expected. I remember as a child spin dryers got things almost dry but hers most things were wet.
Shegar - well done on giving up caffeine and overcoming the after effects. I have found that for past two days I have been craving cola drinks for the first time in ages so be warned it may yet sneak back
Possession - maybe you could use the giant rabbits as insulation:rotfl:0 -

Hester
I have ten bin bags sorted to weigh in this week of kids stuff - am really looking forward to the extra space. I am gonna clear my wardrobe too and weigh in the lot - will appreciate the wardrobe space back. Then when I lose some weight this year I wont feel so bad if I need a few new items in smaller sizes0 -
Thanks kidcat
i think what triggered it is the first week of school and the boys in his year are playing fighting games and being very aggressive "saying if give me *** i'm going to hit you"
So he's quite literally doing it at home.
He's lashed out by jumping on us and things if his doesn't get his way but its more playing if you see what i mean.
But this time it was pure violence.
We've been chatting about it and tried to kick his brother earlier when he got frustrated with a game. So we took the game off him and made him apologised and said one time and your going to bed.
Just frustrating and worrying, he's getting big now so he's stronger than he looks.0 -
