    Thank you bluebag,
Mar, you brought tears to my eyes, and as I won't cry in front of hubby I got up and cleaned the kitchen so something positive....
Kez we have a 2 pints marathon planned for later after his kip. Along with pop corn and chocolate.

Ok I've made a list. Is it wrong to put down tidy kitchen then tick it straight away? Just so it looks good?

Did you do it? ...yes, then blOody tick it woman!

  • CC you're an amazing couple of people, being open and honest and still keeping your sense of humour and love for each other in the front of your lives. If I could give you just one bit of advice it would be to live in the here and now, this second, every second of every day and enjoy it and enjoy each other and keep laughing with, about each other and at yourselves. Today is what counts, today is real, tomorrow is an unknown quantity and can be dealt with when it arrives. Live NOW, be NOW and enjoy NOW, and draw your strength from each other the way you so obviously do from your posts here. Bless you both, Love Lyn xxx.

    Hello all

Cornish - I've a great deal of admiration for how you and DH are dealing with this, I can only echo what everyone else says "enjoy the now". Don't be afraid to cry infront of DH either, I'm sure he needs to see and feel the emotion too x

Kez - your tree sounds fab!

Well I've just rearranged the entire living room/dining room and conservatory as our old sofa went yesterday. Until the new ones arrive on Friday we're using the conservatory rocking chairs.....not great for any period of time and not enough room to crochet but it's only a stop gap. The new sofas should just slot straight in (if I've measured correctly)

We had a baked Camembert last night (from the c0-0p) which had pancetta bits to pop on top and bake.....it was scrummy, the best Camembert I've ever had. I cut some part baked rolls in half before cooking and spread with garlic butter, bunged them in the oven for 5 mins until they were hot and gooey and we dunked those into the cheese.....bloody lovely! They also do a Camembert with a gorgeous oven proof dish in the c0-0p, £3! Worth it for the dish alone. DD1 works there so her staff discount makes it even better.

Off for a coffee with a friend for an hour tomorrow and to pick up some Euros as I'm off to Bruge on Wednesday with DD1 :)

Grrr I've been craving it since I seen it on fb and I woulda had it had Lid* not had a power cut! Off round the store putting all my things back and left without any :(

The coop didn't have any and didn't want to pay wait*se prices so doing without but did treat to Wensleydale with apricots. Cheese is my savoury downfall.

I was supposed to go shopping today but haven't been, bought two energy saving bulbs from tosco £7 for two bulbs nearly died,
They were the cheapest bulbs in the whole place.

WE haven't been out today instead just played games and wtched tv.
DS2 is in a strop as i sent upstairs for hitting ds1, he had a a reason, but i don't condone violence. So i sent him off, hes currently banging upstairs for attention. I feel for the neighbours but i know any attention i give will make the situation worse.
