Need to take in all that has been posted since I last logged in. Oh so many need emo35.gif and though a little shy I have lots to give but being alone I don't get the chance to do so.

We hoped at the start of the year for better times...anyone think its been a better year than last year? There have been moments but it seems much the same...just that we are perhaps stronger and continue to fight against the s*** that seems to come our way.

I would post about the lovely day and concert I saw this afternoon but save it for another time when more appropriate but will put an entry on my blog soon with images.

I put a couple of images and Tweets on the internet about it already...but need to think about what I will write on the blog...

  • Sorry kidcat - no SC so no recipe to offer I do mine the standard oven way, in fact now you've said it I must do one this weekend as a treat for DH as he loves it. He deserves a treat as he's done the deed and his last day at work will be next Tuesday so straight into it on Wednesday for him with DS's CAF!! I'm not quite sure he knows what he has signed up for - LOL!!! But I know my back is thanking him already!

If you all want an awwww moment - DD sleeps on her front with her bum stuck in the air and she has just taken a sudden increased liking for a rag doll she got for Christmas last year and has just started demanding to take her to bed - well I asked her after her story tonight if dolly wanted to go to sleep to and she put the doll face down and tucked her legs under her before grabbing her puppy toy and assuming her sleep position and crashing!! Just the cutest.

Catching up with the Jamie programme from the other night - ok, so it's not actually cheap cooking but it is budget cooking from the point of view of the people it is aimed at and anything that gets people cooking real food can't be too bad!

Hugs to all who need or want one - Hx

Morning well I feel tunns better dh off to work kids up just getting ready. Then off we go and it's raining heavy outside.

Cams are going to see ds at school today so hopefully they will beable to give some diagnosis soon.
I was hoping to have dla sorted out by now so I could arrange transport for him to school. I will pay out of his money for taxis if he gets it witch cams say he should they told me to apply.

It's so hard for them getting up at 645 to go to school and not getting in till 445.

Well it's wet and cold brrrr no heating tho lol
I have dyslexia so I apologize for my spelling and grammar
  • JEM Hugs for feeling better and more positive today honey, hope that this day is so very much better and happier for you than yesterday was, as they say 'what a difference a day makes'eh? Love Lyn xxx.
  • Wanted to pop in and offer my hugs, esp. for Jem, Alfsmum, Sheila, Kidcat and Pooky.

OH has found out his school is being evaluated next week:eek: I barely know if I'm coming or going with the start of term and all of the new training (most of which I feel would be better spent getting stuck in and figuring things out!) and trying to finish up my thesis. Afraid I may be scarce for awhile.

Mrs. LW, I've filed away your pickle recipe. At the moment we're eating from my pile of 15 minute recipes but things will slow down again eventually!

    Hugs to any and all.
  • Hang in there FPK, all phases pass, cling to that thought, it will get you through many frantic days, that little light just percieved at the end of the tunnel gets to be a bigger light the further through the tunnel you go, Cheers love, Lyn xxx.

    Morning all :)

(((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))) to everyone. I'm happy to make the virtual tea and I think there might be some dark chocolate digestives left unless DH found my hiding place.

I am seriously sick of this sodding virus now. My voice is still playing up and I'm still a snot monster :( I'm back in work tomorrow so I hope that it has improved by then. Thankfully my energy levels are back up.
I'm just bored silly at the moment (But not enough to do housework) I need to find something to occupy myself today that doesn't involve spending any money. It's a pity that the bus fare into town is so expensive.

My session with the therapist went ok yesterday. He was a bit shocked about the lack of help I got when I had PND and I think by the list of things I feel the need to work through. I'm just hoping that I get some things dealt with and not just brought to the surface and left. I'm allowed up to 20 sessions and as there are weeks between available appointments then they could last a while.

I did finally pluck up the courage to use my sewing machine and I have made a lined bag with boxed corners :D It could stand some improvement, but it's a start. My sewing machine and I are going to visit my lovely MIL in 2 weeks and I'll get some lessons from her. I am resisting the urge to go and buy lots of fabric but it is difficult. If anyone knows a good place to get cheap fabric online I would appreciate knowing where to go.

    Much love to everyone xxxx
  • Morning all.

Jem, I’m glad that things are slightly easier for you today chicken. Keep your chin up!!

Busy day for me today. I have family here whilst their property has asbestos removed from their home.

Weather is unpredictable at the moment. But defiantly a cold one this morning.
I think Mr Wilson (My male staffy) has a cold in the tum. He’s not interested in his grub, He just wants to sleep and is shivering. So he’s on bed / crate rest today. Doesn’t help that poppy (My female) keeps trying to mother him.

I’m having some real troubles with poppy recently. She’s started to have “accidents” in the house that she tries to clean up herself. She’s keeping us up all night every night so I’m one real grumpy mummy today!

Anyways off to do some chores before the chaos commences.
    Future goals:
    Become debt free.
    Beat Depression.
    Be happy & healthy
