Weather is unpredictable at the moment. But defiantly a cold one this morning.
I think Mr Wilson (My male staffy) has a cold in the tum. He’s not interested in his grub, He just wants to sleep and is shivering. So he’s on bed / crate rest today. Doesn’t help that poppy (My female) keeps trying to mother him.

I’m having some real troubles with poppy recently. She’s started to have “accidents” in the house that she tries to clean up herself. She’s keeping us up all night every night so I’m one real grumpy mummy today!

LOL it's the change in the weather my two staffie girls are proper sulking. They won't go out if it's raining...I have to bodily manhandle the smaller (older) one out for a wee if it's wet. The I have to close the door and stand in the rain with her, otherwise she just runs back to the door and whimpers!

I saw mention somewhere of the "Fabric of Britain" prog on BBC4, just sat and watched it right through . Loved watching the women knitting right from the 20s on, esp the wartime period. And they recreated a knitted 1930s "bathing suit" and got a girl to wear it and go into the sea. She liked it. Jumpers knitted by male prisoners of war - very well done and neat. Was really interesting, it's on BBC iPlayer if anybody else wanted to see it.

Well its a SOS day here again , shant grind you and all the thread down with the problems though.......But right now we havent got a very nice atmosphere here. , but lm thinking positive thoughts about it all.............

We have cloud this morning , but it is dry , Friday and the weekend will be lovely, sunny and temps at 21 degrees so I will be looking forward to it..:D

........Dont like cloud and chill , reminds me too much of autumn and winter , which seem to make everyone depressed and very down, and problems always seems bigger when theres no sun out...................Right im off outside in my hut with a cuppa and listen to the hens clucking , the birds singing , and have a peaceful few minuets with the daily rag , catch you all later , and hope you all have a decent day .....:)

Thank you Mar, sounds lovely I will look it up. I have some form filling to do this morning and a visit to the dentist this afternoon so the programme will be a treat. Dentist appt is only a checkup and with a different practice which specialises in nervous and and anxious patients. I don't mind dental treatment in itself, and heaven knows I've had enough crowns and root fillings over the years, but with my anxiety the way it is at the moment, the thought of sitting in the chair and not being in control fills me with dread :( Dh is kindly taking a half day so that he can drive me as I wouldn't get there on my own - what a wimp!

My stomach is churning already so I will occupy myself with the dreaded forms then look up Mar's programme.

Have a good day everyone, glad you are feeling better JEM.

Shegar I empathize. The atmosphere in here would stiffen all forms of life. We had a row yesterday and the way he spoke to me was not on. I wouldn't talk to anybody like that and I'm not havin it. So we are each sitting on own couches in icy silence. I should be visualising pink fluffy vibes but unfortunately it's more like machetes....
For your information anybody who has ME - the govt have put out an advisory that organ donors who had ME cannot donate. This the same govt who are trying their hardest to make us believe its all in the mind..

I'm shocked Mar. Anyone who's ever had ME? Not sure if I should tell my sister that or not ...

Does anyone know the name of the company that sells easy sew clothes with the patterns printed on the fabric? I know it was started a few decades ago and then revived a few years ago. It has been mentioned on here before, but for the life of me I can't remember what it is called and my internet searches are proving futile.

    Thanks x
