  • Evening all.

Since Monday & seeing the nasty gp I've managed to speak to my own doctor who is finally back from holiday. She read my notes from the appointment (Monday) too me & she's not a happy bunny to say the least.

He put all the wrong information on there about my medical background. She stated although she cant say, Go ahead & make a complaint about him as he is a colleague. However she will support my petition of complaint because she's had time to read my notes.

I'm finally starting to get back on track. However my one true issue now seems to be so called family and their horrid attitude towards me & the fact they seem to think i'm the bank of England.

This really bothers me because their family - I don't feel like I can say no & stand up for myself.

This evening is a quite one, We're repairing some clothes that would normally be thrown out. Makes a difference. And it actually feels quite rewarding.

Hope everyone is having a quite evening. Speak to you all tomorrow x

Ouch MrsVP. When my neighbour reversed into my car I wasn't upset. I was more concerned about consoling her. It's only a car. Poor MrVP - although when DH reversed my new car over my newly laid front lawn into my newly planted young tree an snapped it (former life ya hear) boy was he in the dog house so I get where you're coming from ;)

Hi all. Well, we've got through today unscathed but am waiting for tomorrow with some trepidation as the local paper comes out and I have a feeling that the Rev will feature quite largely in it. She had a phone call from the Big, Big Boss today who was very sympathetic. She seemed quite pleased but I am rather more cynical and think that the 100s of letters he has received might have scared him sufficiently to try to smooth things over. We are going to see him in a couple of weeks and I can't wait!

Mar: If the Rev were doing the funeral you could be buried where you liked, I'm sure she'd take you to the tip in a black bag if that was your wish. Unfortunately I think the Anglicans have rules and are quite sticky about keeping them. I think it is unlikely that anyone could be buried in a churchyard unless
    1. They had already reserved a plot there.
    2. Other family members and/or ancestors were buried there.

I think the Spiritulist minister might be a sticking point too.
You'd have to approach the vicar of the church and find out what the situation was. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Fuddle: Glad you like the magazines, there is another one on its way. I see no reason why Church magazines should have to be boring.

    Kez: ooooh! you are awful.

We bought some plastic container boxes the other day and I was electrified when I got them home to read the label on the front. It said, "RUB OPEN FRONT." I told the Rev that it was an invitation I would have no difficulty in refusing.
Worked out later that it was made by the Really Useful Box company and this particular model had a hinged opening at the front.

    Well.......................

Prayers for a painfree night for poorly ones.

    Hello Kez(and everyone):):)
Makes my day knowing there are those interested in my well being.

Lots of positive vibes today on here and generally things seem to be working out.

Car bumps? When I came out of the bingo tonight(its only small and small prizes)someone clipped a car in the car park(I have no idea how)as everyone knows each other quite well, I do wonder if they will be understanding or it will cause a little bit of ill feeling.

It won't last but two days this week, though slow, I have managed to walk twice to the music club Tuesday, Bingo tonight with less pain. Always thankful of any improvement if temporary. Feeling upbeat again too.

I've done a wash(had to use the tumble dryer but I use it sparingly)Bit of housework, have a few items to sew that have come away along the seams...then upto date again...

I was going to have a propper meal when I came in but went for the usual salad in the end. And a very small bottle of cider.

It gets dark so early now:(So if I am kept on AD's I don't mind...That's about as exciting as it gets for now...

I may have said tomorrow is a happy day...a magic show with Paul Daniels and a lunchtime concert with music from the shows...

I am keeping up to date with whats happening and hopefully will have more I can add in the next day or so I hope...

Hugs to those who need them and I hope you can sleep well,

    xx

  • Morning all,
After a sleepless night (youngest it seems has already succumbed to school germs, just a cold I think) I came on here for a read and had a good laugh so thanks Kez and all :D My OH would defo have crashed LOL!
Pouring with rain here today not looking forward to the school run  and will have trouble drying the washing as it is still quite muggy even with the rain I was hoping it might clear some of the humidity.
Food shop tonight am so excited :o as we have nothing in at all, I have turned my chest freezer off to save on electric and the fridge freezer section has one bag of frozen sweetcorn in it! Cupboards are bare and the fridge has only marg, eggs and milk in it. At the same time I dread it as everytime it seems to cost more but you get less and less :(, something needs to change for the better.
Anyway I shall stop my rambling, have a great day everyone.

Oh forgot to add AOT sorry to hear you had a fall I must have missed that post, wishing you a speedy recovery x
Proud mummy to 3 beautiful boys! :D
