well school hols have officially begun so dejunking and degrotting the house has commenced in earnest.
Made a start in the study and have rediscovered some floor. There is definately much less paper clutter than normal, so I obviously did a reasonable job at photocopying less this year. Have still managed to fill a big bag for life with paper to go back to school though  The recycling bag is also filling up nicely.
Collected a pile of donation bags from the local BHF charity shop so I can get rid of things straight away rather than waiting until I have too big a hoard to carry to the shop

Well done PAVLOVsDOG very organised you sound too, don't knock yourself out in this hot weather by doing too much at once, take it slow and steady and you'll weather the weather much better, Cheers Lyn xxx.0

I wonder why the school holidays are so different ? Our schools have been off for 3 weeks already.
Our schools have been off for the last three weeks as well, we are in Scotland we go back mid August but England is always later.
Even locally there can be a difference of several days between different towns here when it comes to holidays.1 Sealed Pot Challenge # 1480

Hi everyone, we are back from our shopping day. I managed to egt some new shoes from a charity shop (brand new with tags) for 3.99 these are toe post wedges. And I got DD new bras from la senza sale for £1 each tada!!!!! That was about it. Oh and in next I 'found' a new top for mwah reduced from £40 to £10. I LOVE it.
I had a lovely time wandering in the sunshine, it was 32 degrees so we nipped in and out of shops. Some lovely things in the sales but I didn't need them so I was good and didn't buy them.
Work rang me to check I was ok, it was the deputy manager that was off at the weekend. She appogised for not speaking to me earlier, and will be collecting my statement later. It is nearly 7 pages long as I had to record all the events of the evening at work.
Well im pooped, all that dreaming and window shopping take sit out of you. Have a great evening x

grandmasam, I think I could make some of those muffins
I do seem to throw too many bananas away.
bunbun2 Its amazing how many places we never get around to visiting even locally. Example being my trip to the airshow in Sunderland this weekend even without the event why have I not visited before? Or the marina in Hartlepool as examples.
tattycath, hope you soon feel more your usual self, forgetting conditions that many live with all the time in this heat and with those kind of dibilitating illnesses you have so little energy.
monnagran, that is quite a tale about the deer in your garden.
The herd at Raby are really large and this is the clearest/nearest to the roadside I have ever seen them.
Not on my images as I dashed for a bus but many were very dark in colour and I have to assume that as they get older that will change? Unless there are two different types. They did seem to stay in different groups.
The grounds are so large I have never seen them as well before."A government afraid of its citizens is a Democracy. Citizens afraid of government is tyranny!" ~Thomas Jefferson
