Yes don't take this the wrong way Stilty, but nobody will be looking at you! Well done Miss Stilty, clever girl.
Have picked up an under counter freezer today for £10 but missed out (by a minute) on 18sq metres of laminate for £20.0 -

Worth asking on freegle/freecycle/whatever. Laminate is often on my local one.0 -
Hi everyone, wow the bargain possession. I love to find one too but I go on the facebook sites. Little miss stiltwalker well done and you deserve the 2 outfits. Kelzou that's a lot to fit in on one weekend, but making sure your parent is fine is always the most rewarding. I check onmy mum everyday. To everyone else who I have forgot to mention - I hope you are happy, well, warm and safe.
I tried to do my car insurance on sunday and realised the mot has ran out....... aug last year. How did I forget?? Well today it is all sorted, sailed through. So I then had to tax it. I keep apologising, but the worse thing is I got stopped in November and the police didn't say anything then.
I have the worse migraine ever today, think its because I have been worrying about my car.
Well must start to cook tea for OH, he will be home soon.
Stay safe and warm everyone, and fuddle I hope you get sorted with the landlord soon - not the weather to be without heating.BSC member 137

We seem to have progress on the house, final inspection and settlement are booked for monday, so please keep everything crossed for us. My friend the builder is getting started on flat stuff, so he's bringing the supplies bit by bit. Our bedroom is full of bathroom tiles and the lounge has an oven and taps in the middle of the floor. Gawd knows where we're putting the toilet when that arrives, maybe I could use it like a pouffe when watching telly? :rotfl:Softstuff- Officially better than 0070

Hi everyone
DS2 has kindly passed on his stomach bug, so I'm thinking about camping out in the bathroom for the day
Oh well, at least it means I won't have to cook today.
Take care everyone xxx0 -
crossing digits for Monday softstuff x
get well wishes SDG x
DS8 still off school. I thought he would be ok today and was just getting too cosy at home but actually he doesn't look well and says he feels awful. Bundled him up to come with me to drop DS10 at his friends to walk rest of way to school. Means I had to cancel my smear test which I wanted to get out of the way, never mind.
DH has just phoned sounding terrible to say he is coming home after an hour at work. At least I can collect DS10 and leave DS8 at home. In theory I could pop out to shops this afternoon but have already written down lots of little jobs to do indoors and feeling grotty and headachy myself so will stay put.
Just had a text from a friend who used to live near us and moved away a little further asking if I fancied meeting up one day. It's funny as soon as I come on here talking about friends, some appear out of the woodwork!
Nearly cleared the laundry bins, rare occurrence here. Off to hang another load. Chicken in slowcooker so just make some mash and some sort of veggies, frozen I can't be bothered with fresh for later.0 -
Well I have lots of freelance work (for a pittance) today, two poorly children and a solicitor trying to get me to complete next Friday. Not enough time between exchange and completion, too much to do. The date would have been fine if it had been arranged 2 weeks ago!0
