Does he have the sickness bug SQ? DS was off with that today and there are loads at his school, and DD's school, who have it.0

Well Little Miss Stilty just gets more important by the day - she's going to be ruling the world by the time she's 8 at this rate. Today's email brought the request for her to open the conference rather than just give a workshop - going to require 2 outfits now though as she is going to film her presentation before the day (in case of nerves in front of such a big audience) and then introduce her film in person at the conference. She quickly decided she couldn't be wearing the same thing!! She took the request totally in her stride - I'm panicking big style, mostly because it means that I have to stand up in front of the whole conference too! She'll be amazing though - so proud of her - I think it is so important for us to challenge our young people and to offer them all the opportunities that we can so this is exactly what I am promoting.0

Hi Monnagran, glad you had a good time (sorry about the gas bill )
Hope your DS is feeling a bit better soon SQ.
SDG, sorry to hear the dog's been visiting again. It's time we rehomed him elsewhere.
Possession, I am envious of your packing. In a small 1 bed unit, there's little we can do without it being impossible to live here (this really is a reason we didn't want to try and buy and sell at the same time). Today there's more sorting and organising to be done. Still, even if it's by the small spoonful, I will shift the mountain.
Stilty, if you're nervous, you can always hide behind little miss! I'm sure she'll be wowing the crowd.Softstuff- Officially better than 0070 -
Lovely to see you back Monna.
Little Miss Stilty is fabulous - she'll take it all in her stride. Don't stress Stilty - you know all eyes will be on her!
SDG - hugsSmall victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0 -
Stilty, what a star! How wonderful that your children are achieving so much, you must be very proud.
savingqueen, your weekend sounds to have been packed full of fun, I hope DS recovers quickly.
One or 2 of you not feeling so good so I hope you are on the mend, I have to say it has taken me a good couple of weeks to get over this flu thing, I think I will have the injection next year.
Monnagran, glad you had a good time, sounds like your friend has a great attitude to life.
Very cold here but at least it has been dry for a good few days.0 -
Morning all
Wow Little Miss Stilty! I am so very very proud of her. Yes of course she needs two outfits, a diva as well as a star!! Stilty, what about your outfit or outfits?!!!
please ignore this... just doing to calm myself....
I am sitting here trying not to fume. DS8 is still poorly, not the sickness bug but a coldy/fluy type bug, high temperature the worse, in turns he feels freezing and boiling. DH and I starting to feel the same but DH as dragged himself off for his hike to work.
My fab friend is coming to pick up DS10, it is out of her way and her 2 are the not the easiest to get ready. DS10 is very tired (bad night, different story there) but well... so to school he must go. Woke him 6.45 (his request), he is still IN BED and friend here in 25 mins. He doesn't want to go to school and certainly not with the friend as her kids know how to wind him up. I am staying calm... I am staying calm.... rinse and repeat :rotfl:
Hope everyone has a good day, back later to check on you all.... so be good0 -
Hugs SQ He will be fine when he gets there.0
