Morning. Crisp but beautifully sunny here.

We're watching out our window for the next hour to take part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch. Only seen a robin thus far.

No plans to do much at all this weekend. Ivyleaf both DH and the girls are helping in the housekeeping and home organisation. It's what we did when I worked full-time when eldest was born so we've slipped back into that role with ease. I think the tiredness is coming from computer screen staring and having to remain alert constantly. I'm upping my protein consumption and reducing the carbs in a bid to remove any sluggishness.

Good new is that I will now get free eye tests via work because the amount of screen viewing I have to do.

OS ways today will be using up some apples that have seen better days. I will stew them and add them rice pud for the girls supper tonight.

I'm also going to get all the packs of mince out of the freezer, defrost and make a mince and onion pie for tea. I'll serve with mash and peas.

    Morning everywhere,

I know you are probably not reading this nutty but thinking of you love, soon be over.

Yes I need to cut down my carbs, addicted to them and up the proteins and also veg. This is the heaviest I have ever been - other than when pregnant and the way I am going I will hit my pregnancy max weight if I don't get a grip on my eating. Hardly any trousers fit me, one pair of jeans fits ok, the other I am bursting out of and my smart trousers (wear for school volunteering) are very tight. Nothing else fits. My coat is straining at the buttons. EEEEEK!!!!!

I am planning to get my lot involved with the house stuff this weekend too fuddle. I have been (still am) poorly and the house is a TIP. Boys have no homework for a change so plenty of spare time, alas DH is very behind on his coursework and extremely unmotivated to catch up with his current work situation. He has 2 assignments to complete asap (been given an extension for one already)

I woke up late to discover DH has taken boys to the park to play footie - very early for him. We discovered a |(free) hard surface multisports play area but you need to get there early before it is occupied. If they get to use it today..... no muddy clothes in theory, well they need to walk across a muddy park so.....

Plans for today are a bath, actually we all need one, change all beds, dishes, laundry, general clean and tidy and spag bol for dinner. Sometimes the glamour goes to my head :D

morning all, feeling so tired today... I was up n about till nearly midnight. OH was laughing as I was running to the loo lots x
We had a nice chat last night and he is thinking about a few days in Disney paris. I last went when I was newly single with the girls and mum. Me and OH separated due to financial arguments and the loss of our home, hence why we both ended up bankrupt, but times have moved on. We are now wiser and stronger, most of the time!!!
His redundancy money has arrived and he suggested we spend a little on a holiday. Something to look forward to after all that's happened.
Fuddle we have a hedgehog we think in the bottom on the garden, but the only birds that appear and for food and then off they fly. I think the dog barking at them scares them off.

Ok must dash....... no more info needed. PS op is at 245 this afternoon.......

Good luck for this afternoon Nutty - you'll be home before you know it.

It's a gorgeously sunny day but my goodness that wind is bitter - I don't need to venture anywhere aside from bringing in some coal and wood later so I shall enjoy the sunshine streaming in through the windows (even if it does show up just how dusty everything is!!)

Feel like I'm on an endless housework wheel at the moment - these 7 cats create an awful lot of fluff, dust and muddy paw prints, add to that the dust from the parrot and the open fire and it seems like I'm forever damp dusting and hoovering.

Jaffa cakes (lydle's own of course) and tea seem to be the cure all!

Nutty, pop a couple of damp cloths in a bag in the fridge. Unbelievably helpful later :o

What a brilliant idea! I'll remember that for next time. Oh, and Vaseline was helpful too, very soothing after "going" :p

    Thinking of you nuttyp x

Mrs CD Mrs LW's grandson's real name is Ezra, but when he was very new, a neighbour brought her toddler to see him, and the little girl said she'd "come to play with Baby Zebra" and it sort of stuck :D We all call him Zebra now!

Fuddle That's great about the free eye tests :) Try to remember to blink a lot when using the screen x

Wasnt around yesterday due to a migraine ( poss stress related - theres shock!) and I missed so much :o

Kezlou well done that boy, I love it when auties show their true selves, we are proud and blow anyone who doesnt seem impressed

Stilty little miss is doing so well, swimming is so good for the body and soul.

Mrs LW have a fab time with Zebra, can you squeeze in a cuddle from me, if its not too much trouble :rotfl:

Nutty hope all goes well hunny, at least they will get to the bottom of your problem :o seriously x

Sq resist those carbs and it will drop off you, good standby - mashed boiled eggs, chopped tomatoes/ chopped crispy bacon and mayo will give you a good start to the day. Make yourself feel as if you are sinning by eating lots of meat and veg. I eat tons of carrot and swede mash or hm coleslaw which fills the plate and my tum up.

To everyone else hugs where needed.

Dgs went for haircut, made no fuss and grew up over night! The hairdresser has been so good persevering for a year and nearly cried when he let her do it all. He also secretly memorised his Mummys password on her laptop and now logs in when he wants  he isnt 5 till April. He was very tired today and went to sleep so fast Oh thought something was wrong when I came down stairs - lets hope it lasts.
