Nutty we are not homeless the housing association just want to get rid of unlettable bedsits on an extremely noisy corner. I did look them up last night there are three of them in the same block. I really would not like to live there it is at a big junction of 4 major roads one of them being access to the motorways.

A bed sit would mean putting most of our furniture in storage which would probably be as expensive as paying the extra for the heating and the rent rise. We would still be sharing a room. It's not practical.

Oooh congrats to Master kezlou and Miss stilty - both champions!

((((nutty)))) thinking of you. Not sure if this helps in the slightest but I sometimes try and imagine myself 'past event' eg. if I am thinking about a dentist appointment or even in the chair, I try and imagine how I will feel when it's all over and how relieved I will be. I'm not sure if that makes any sense now I type it but it helps me.

Thank you for all the kind wishes and the welcome :)
I don't know when the work will start on the back door - they just asked me to choose which design I liked and the type of glass for the window, and said they would send a letter to say when they were coming. I hope they let the cold weather pass first though.
I feel like I already know a little bit about everyone, but I would like to know how Zebra's name came about!

Nutty, I have to this powder stuff and it is absolutely awful and the smell:(

Good tip nargle wearing a pad. It really does help.

Well I've actually been organised tonight, made chick pea curry, rice and wraps and got all the school and work clothes in the washer as we speak.

Ds2 is feeling a little happier, think it's because the weekend and so no school.

Maggie, have to say all our cats are very affectionate it'd just flea and worming time they turn into monsters :) they so cute and when your feeling low guaranteed they all flock to you determined to make you smile. Yesterday when ds2 was ill all the cats snuggled up with him. They were stroking his hair, grooming him. Whenever he yelped in pain, they nuzzled him till he felt better.

Guinea pigs are very sweet they love to chatter and very sociable.

I cannot claim the credit for the pad suggestion, that was ivyleaf

You're right about guinea pigs though, my dad and stepmum used to have one, she used to squeak loudly when Dad came into the room because he usually had a lump of cucumber for her. They were very sad when she died, she was a little friend to them.

    Oops sorry about that :o

Nutty it does taste awful and beware the burning and walking like John Wayne

Just had a row with OH, we made a deal about switching lights off when not in the room. Lo and behold go upstairs and ALL the lights are on. Cane downstairs and politely asked them to go upstairs and v switch them off. Boys went straight upstairs and did it, OH had a complete hissy fit. Kids heard him screaming, came downstairs and looked at him with disgust. Absolute KH, he honestly doesn't do anything. One simple thing and he can't even do that.
