Thank you all for your support yesterday. We have done lessons today here and whilst not easy he has complied and understands he must work. As for school I am attending the meeting on MOnday but I will be recording it, its time to compile a file of evidence and begin a new chapter.
MrsLw so glad things look brighter today.
Nutty HUgs for tomorrow
SQ grrrr thats so wrong, poor DH, sounds like this person needs to be moved on. I find it so frustrating that people like that are rewarded for bad behaviour.
Mrs CD its always good to hear nice news
Stilty - two weeks seems so long to have to wait and it must be awful for you all, but I suppose at least it gives you ample time to plan and get prepared.
Right off to make a sensory bottle, squidgy pouch and tornado bottle for our afternoon lessons0 -
That sounds like a lovely afternoon kidcat - I use the Ikea ziplock bags for squidgy things like that as they have a double line of the closing thing and then sellotape the top to be sure!
2 weeks is a long time, specially since it was the 11th so it has been almost that long already. DH would just like to have it done with really as at the moment it's like pulling a plaster off really slowly.
Glad DS2 is feeling a bit better Kez - silly teachers not being impressed - I'm very impressed. I get so cross when people underestimate our small ones or fail to appreciate them - so they do things a bit differently in their own way or in their own sweet time but what they do they have worked so hard at it really should be celebrated.
In the spirit of celebration Miss Stilty did amazingly well at Hydro this morning swimming over a width (as she did it diagonally - lol) under her own steam with no assistance (other than the armbands). She also stood with only the water supporting her and did all her stretches really well, think she's going to be falling asleep at school though - oops! Didn't take Master Stilty as he has a chest infection and coughing like he's been smoking woodbines behind the bike shed! He is seriously unimpressed with the banana flavoured medicine he is supposed to be taking and it is taking some contortions to get it into him (think medicating a particularly squirmy cat!)
Catch you all later - hugs X0 -
Stilty - I use laminating pouches - and iron them closed0
-
oo i may have to steal those activities kidcat!
They sound so much fun
Stilty another two weeks , you all must be so up in the air. Your poor hubby won't able to start the grieving process till shes laid to rest. Lots of hugs sent your way x
Oh wow thats amazing! DD stood up all by herself, so proud of her :T:T She is progressing so fast
Think definitely a celebration tonight for you all is in order. hope DS is feeling better soon.
Well another job done, six cats wormed and flea'd with 24 hours, i have more cuts than a butchers. Honestly you think i was bathing them the way they were acting.
Just put the heating, blooming temperature has dropped inside and out so the kids will be freezing arriving back from school. Another load of washing in the machine and i remembered to eat. somethings up lol0 -
Afternoon all
Feeling a bit brain dead - haven't stopped all day, thought I'd just sit down for a 10 minute cuppa (we'll ignore the 2 donuts that might have accidently been scoffed).
Kez - I did our cats the other day - there's only one that's not happy with the process - he's the eldest, you'd think he'd be used to it by now but he hates being picked up so I have to pick my moment to give him a good rough stroke and drop the drops on his head. I must get some more when I take the kittens in to be "done" next month as I've only got a dose each left in the drawer.
That'll be a fun bill - 2 cats to be spayed, 2 lots of micro chipping and 3 months flea/worm treatment for 7 cats! Good job they've just discovered the @ldi cat food is their favourite! Saving me over £10 a week - no doubt they'll go off it next week
12 boxes of stuff in the garage now awaiting bootsale season - I'm being very ruthless, the trifle bowl, turkey plate and cake stand that have moved house to house to house and not used are finally leaving! Why do we keep all this stuff?"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
So pleased for you MrsCD welcome to the toughies thread. There are a few of you come from Durham.
Have you read the thread you have to find out how MRSLWs DGS got to be called Zebra. If you have not read it you must be thinking, fancy calling a child zebra.
Well I am put off cats even more with you two Pooky and Kez. I keep thinking I can have a pet when we move into social housing but I can't have one if we move into a flat. DS says we can't afford a dog. I guess he is right.
Probably will get a guinea pig again or two because they like company. When DD lived in Warsaw we say a man taking his guinea pig for a walk on a lead. It was happily munching the grass in the park.
Kidcat it's a pity you have not recorded meetings before or at least taken some notes.
When we went to Ald! a couple of weeks ago I bought some daffodils in a pot. They the leaves were only about an inch above the compost. They have just come into flower I have 5 flowers and 3 buds. I feel like spring is coming.
Just as I thought the sheltered housing they were going to offer me is all 1 bedroom. DS cannot live on his own with no money at all.0 -
Nurse Maggie cats are lovely warm creatures one you accept your position as human slave
I have always taken notes at meetings but they aren't accepted as evidence as I coul write anything. I always advise parents to record meetings but failed to follow my own advice.0 -
Hi everyone, Pooky well done with the decluttering. Mrs Lw we need pictures of this new bathroom when its all done. Stiltwalker well done to little miss, I wish I could swim. I hope everyone else is doing well.
I feel a bit scared today, had a wander with DD into town. Bought a new shower curtain and light pull for the bathroom. DD is sat eating, and I cant until after the treatment tomorrow. Got to take my cleansing stuff in a bit, I can see tonight being a long night......
Nursemaggie, as a short term solution can you possibly get a sofa bed for your son to sleep on?? I know its not ideal, but is better than nothing.BSC member 137

Hugs nutty, am thinking of you0

((HUGS)) nuttyp. Once the stuff starts working, try to stay near the loo. I found it took about 4 hours to finish working. I found a "night-time" sanitary towel was useful for the times when I didn't quite get there in time. x
Thinking of you stilty, so sorry you have to wait so long for the funeral x
Well done Master kezlou!0
