Hugs to you and DH Stilty - as others have said your MiL is at peace & out of pain & had been able to put her affairs in order.

Hugs Stilty, hope you're all OK and the littlies are coping. I'm glad OH got the chance to see her and it sounds as if she went very much on her own terms.
  • HELEN how much she must have loved her family to wait for all of them to say their goodbyes, she must have loved your DH very, very much indeed. Hope he and you too will find ways to remember her in the happy times and soon catch your breaths and find your balance again. Are the small people OK? I send you so much love and hope your sorrow and pain are at least bearable, Lyn xxx.

I've just been to Mr T and got such a bargain that I might put it on a few threads, so excuse me if you see it twice. They had two different frozen chicken breast packs in the frozen reduced section, one at £1.50 and one marked at £2. I got 2 of the £2 ones but they went through the till at £8 each and I was away with the fairies and genuinely didn't notice until after I'd paid. I got double the difference so it paid for most of my shopping. :) They are Cheadles Valley chicken breast fillets, 800g, in the freezer reduced section, bar code 5 060021 946003. Maybe someone else will be able to get them if it's not just my store.

ivyleaf Not sure if it helps but i have recently been putting a cover on the bed which covers from pillows to the bottom of the bed. Then just before getting taking it off. Seriously reduced the amount of cat hair. We have six furbabies so you imagine all six of them on the bed :o

Wow softstuff yay :j:j:j:j:j:j:j fantastic news !!!!:T

Mrs VP - glad your DD is on the mend.

    ginny what a nightmare

So sorry stilty sending lots of hugs and lit a candle for you all. May sound silly but she sounds as though she waited for her little boy to arrive home safe and sound and be surrounded by his loving family. ((hugs))) xx

From Friday onwards i've barely had any sleep, blumming wind scared the life out of ds2 so hes been out of sorts.
We literally spent all weekend at home, none of us were well enough to do anything.

Last night the wind kept me up again, ds2 kept crying in his sleep and the wind kept blowing the wheely bin over. In the end i gave up and fell asleep at half five and was back up for 7. Absolutely exhausted and have a banging headache.

Sent both kids to school, i know bad mummy alert, they both still not 100 % but i'm hoping school will exhaust them so they come home shattered and conk off to bed early.
School are under strict instructions that if boys are not well then they have to be brought home asap.

In need of a massive injection of caffeine so i can crack on with paperwork and cleaning the kitchen. OH and kids made pizza on Saturday and the mess is unreal. Cleared it away but still keep finding bits of flour in mysterious places.

But on the plus side the front room is cleared so snuggle with the boys on the sofa later

You know the other option Kezlou would be to sit down, put your feet up and maybe have a nap. The mess will still be there later, but you might feel better about it then ;).

That really is a bargain Possession, if I was in England I'd be heading for Mr T's right now!

Very nervous and anxious about the house and associated doings. Will feel better once a mortgage is approved and an inspection done, but right now it just feels almost close enough to grasp, but still far enough away to be snatched away. Also a bit nervous of having a mortgage again, debt in general makes me antsy, we didn't anticipate having a mortgage again. In reality, it'll either come out right in the wash or something else will turn up.

I keep thinking of all the lovely things I could do with a house.... like make soap.... and homebrew!
