Mrs MH put some sticks around the edges of the lawn and stretch some string/cotton across the lawn as if you've put down some grass seed and if he says anything tell him you're trying to keep the cats off it!!! it shouldn't take long for him to get used to using the path instead of his short cut!!!0

Mrs LW you're brilliant - talk about lateral thinking ... I think you could have had a glittering career as a diplomat!!0

This really is turning into a crappy year. My best friend has just come round to tell me she has to go in for an op next week as a malignant tumour has been found on her tongue.
She has to have quite extensive surgery on her neck too to check it hasn't spread. Prognosis seems to be good, hope it is as she has 3 girls.
I've spotted a job which seems made for me except that it's full time. I'd need to apply for it by tomorrow though and don't even have my CV yet.0 -
Hugs Possession, I am so sorry to hear about your friend, xxx
Good luck with the job - get your cv done and go for it!0 -
Possession just awfully upsetting news. A good prognosis is a positive sign and something which is needed for hope. I can't imagine the despair your friend and her family is going through now and for yourself to have something else to worry about, well it's just not fair for you at the moment. If you want the job I wish you all the determination in fighting for it but possession I can completely see if you choose to get off this very fast ride for a while. You could do what is right for you and your family and not just what you think you should do in the circumstances.0

Difficult times for all of you POSESSION and when you're stressed anyway news like this brings you to your knees doesn't it. Research into cancer has advanced an awfully long way in the last few years and the understanding of how it works brings new effective treatments into the medical world regularly. Hopefully your friend will be treated and be well again and you'll be there to join the celebrations when that happens. Stay positive in your thinking love, it helps all of you, Lyn xxx.0

FUDDLE just re read your earlier post and I don't understand the comment in the box about saying 'no' making you reluctant to accept challenges? Tattoo or no tattoo you are the one person in my not unlong life who stands out head and shoulders above other people for having the guts and drive to not only accept the challenges that life has thrown at you but grasp then firmly by the hand and make good your life, I look at what you've achieved in all areas and would never say you'd turned down a challenge girlie, ever!!!0

Oh Possession, all I can offer is hugs and support. You can knock up a CV in time, I know you can. And you can also ask for part time hours--all they can do is say no.
Maggie the cat and I are snuggle up together, washing is on the line and work is getting done. I've a lunch of leftover hm pizza that OH made yesterday to welcome me home and a bit of salad leftover from the lunch I bought en route to come home.0 -
"I also say you should never say no as I believe its stops you from accepting new challenges and you never know what will happen in the future."
It wasn't meant towards tattoos it was meant as general line towards life.
If you actually read what i wrote, the meaning is there. It referenced self harm etc
It wasn't directed at any one person and fuddle i would never force anyone to a tattoo or mark them selves in anyway. Either it be henna, hair dye, cut or whatever and you for one should know that.
I encourage individuality after all i have child whos on the autistic spectrum so i see the world from a different perspective to other people.
.
I was trying to say just instead of saying "no" think or say "i'll try it another time instead"
Its called having a positive instead of a negative.
If you read why i have the tattoo you may understand the reason, but also other peoples for having marks or distinging non permanent things on they body
As for saying i deliberately stated you have to get a tattoo is disgusting i wouldn't do that. So thanks for making me awful, i was not putting fuddle down for not having one. Why would i everyone is entitled to they opinion, i just mine and why i had one. No need to to be so judgemental.0
