Good evening all,
I don't often post on this thread, but I do always try to read and keep up with all your news.
I was wondering if anyone had heard from Sheila, has she had her operation yet, is she well. Sheila if you are reading I do enjoy your posts and hope your DH is still happy in the nursing home.
Much love

Candlelight I was wondering the same. Shegar if you are reading hope you are ok.
Has anyone heard from burtha or even grey Queen as well?
Weather is awful here and I am worried about the bunnies and kitties I am babysitting. I was tempted earlier to bring them all home but I couldn't figure a way to keep them here without issue between our kitties and theirs.0 -
Kidcat I know Grey Queen posts on Preparedness for when the SHTF.

hi everyone, I am still here, have been reading along very late at night or very early morning ,so haven't posted for a bit . have been working like a mad man of late ,but now very glad to say that I am off work for TWO weeks ( insert very happy smilie )and fingers crossed but between dh and myself we think we will be able to pay off most of our debts at the end of the month , its taken us a bit of time and a hell of a lot of hours but hopefully we are very nearly there, so this weekend is the first weekend in a long time that we are both off together , dh will only be off till Tuesday cause the shooting season starts then and although he will be working its what he loves to do and very different from his real job , and although its using his holidays from real job its clearing off debt . So I have my wonderful kids for 2 weeks ,no childcare to sort , no having to get them up early to get then to child care ,ect ect fab . we all went to belsay hall yesterday then on to hadrians wall ,good day out ,windy but sunny ,cheap as we are members of EH so only cost us a couple of ice creams , and today cause the weather was pants we have made a garden pond , have planed and had everything ready for at least one and a half years ,so due to hurricane burther ,she can fill up my pond ,( my namesake is my cute black and white spaniel lol ) then this afternoon became movie night ,everyone happy ...seaside tomorrow don't care what the weather is ...sure we will dry out at some point ...lol

Morning all, had a very long night. Buddie decided to cry and bark for over 2 hours. In the end I camped out on the sofa and he curled up on the mat next to me to sleep. I am so pooped. Any ideas how to calm him down for bed time??
Going to take mum and both DD out for a couple of hours to do some window shopping. Need a couple of odds and ends but nothing major.
Off for a quick shower, take care all xBSC member 137

Morning all,
Nutty, I'm not good with dogs so I'm sure better suggestions will be along. We use a sort of bedtime routine with the kitten, who isn't allowed in our room at night. She gets a bit anxious at times, but a few cuddles and strokes seem to reassure her. Was Buddie afraid of the weather?
Burtha, Congratulations! It must be a very nice feeling. I hope you enjoy the time with your family!
Busy day catching up on work. I can't see any clear days forcast, so may just go ahead and hang a wash indoors--might be the first time this summer!0
