Well done to the junior stiltwalkers and FairyP!
Hope your toenail is ok ivyleaf - sounds painful.
Have a lovely time Lynn.
Grrrr to the non-bonus nutty - makes me hopping mad to hear the workers get nowt but the jammy shareholders still get their money. Even worse when you have been working extra hard and expecting that money. Sign of the times. I hope the lunch out took your mind of it.
Great to hear the ball is starting to roll shegar - crossing everything for you and your DH. I have a little picture of your garden now thank you. (ours is mostly muddy patchy grass, a trampoline, a tumble down shed and a few brave plant survivors, not going to win any prizes!)
Good luck for tomorrow kidcat.
Enjoy your trip out monna and the(semi-) sabbatical.
need to get my head down - last day of stress management and low mood course tomorrow and I have planned to meet a friend at the gym (haven't been for over 4 mths and only went a handful of times before then) I feel very apprehensive going but so much better meeting a friend there. Need to squeeze some time to tidy and clean round a bit as DS7 has friend over after school.
night

Monna, just being nosey, but does that mean you are off duty too? No mass meals to cook? I would love to be a fly on the wall at your send off. Just hope the Revs replacement is tough cos she/He has a hell of an act to follow.
Kidcat ...stop...and breathe....please
Stilty your babies are coming on fast and such lovely news for all their acheivements.
Nuttyp  on your behalf re the bonus, but good news for Mr nutty.
Had another quiet dayboring day really. Hubby did get up and eat tonight though so thats good. Last week he was dreaming he was playing football and stretched to catch the ball (he was a goalie) and fell out of bed - Bl**dy fool - now has a cut on his head and various colourful patches on his right side (the bad side of course) You couldnt make it up could you.

Ivyleaf: I share your ingrown toenail pain. I had the left great toenail surgically removed about six years ago. Hurt like the dickens. I was so tense I burnt through the freezing in record time. I then had a patient stand on my right foot and break the great toe. Yes, you know where this is going. The podiatrist removed the ingrown part of that nail but it's never been right. I am putting off the next visit as long as I can but it's in the future.
I think I might need valium to get in there the next time.
Good luck.0 -
Morning toughies. Am up at silly o'clock again as OH has a new game, it's called bang my spoon against my cereal bowl loudly at 4.30am for ten minutes to make sure my wife is awake.
Monnagran you are lucky she has been allowed to stay in the house for the sabbatical. Our area they have to go away for the whole time on a project. It's very hard for those with children who are in school especially as they are encouraged to go abroad mostly.
SQ good luck today and enjoy the gym.
Ginny I thought those sort of things only happened to me.
Right off to be useful and stack sofas into Centre of room put TV upstairs etc.
Have a lovely day all.0 -

Lovely day again here, though we had some heavy rain and hail y'day afternoon. it seems we're in for some nice weather for a while
Many thanks for the kind wishes about my toe. Chiropodist did have to cut it, but it feels much better now. The great toe on the other foot is a nuisance too, as I dropped a tray several years ago and the edge of it hit my toe just below the nail and damaged the nail root, so that it now grows sideways and gets very thick. The chiropodist files it down with the edge of a special drill so that it looks more like a toenail's supposed to
Shegar - So glad you've finally got SS coming! Hope they can get you sorted out quickly. Your garden sounds lovely, especially the birds. We get mostly wood pigeons and magpies and blackbirds, and there's been a pair of robins the last couple of years. One day the cat came running in in a panic, the robins thought he was too near their nest and started flying to and fro making an incredibly loud staccato alarm call. I couldn't believe such a loud noise could come from such little birds. The cat wouldn't go out there again that dayWe sometimes get parakeets too, in the highest branches of a sycamore, but they just seem to come for about 15 mins or so and then they're off again. I love to hear their whistling calls though
Nutty - Fantastic news re OH's job, but so sorry about your lack of bonus, it's not fair.
monnagran - Good luck in IKEA. I've never yet managed to get out of there without at least one thing I hadn't planned to buy!
Yesterday was a case in point. We went there to get some solar-powered lamps and some picture frames. We got those, but also came away with two lampshades and a cushion. We did actually need one lampshade, but hadn't planned to buy any yesterday. But they are soooo pretty. One is for our bedroom; I bought a new shade for there last month, but when DH put it up I hated it
saving queen - You must be shattered today! take care x
Mrs LW -I expect you've left by now, but hope you have a lovely time with DD and Zebra.
Forgot to say Ginnyknit - my OH has mobility problems (not nearly as bad as your OH though) and one night in bed, fast asleep, he kicked me really hard. I yelled "Ow, that hurt!" He mumbled "Sorry, I was playing football." I was quite pleased in a way as it's been so long since he was able to play football in RL.
Hugs to everyone.0 -
Ivyleaf: I feel your pain. I have a problem toenail too. Grows side wards and thick. I manage to keep it looking “normal” thanks to some very strong nail files.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY NUTTY HOPE YOUR GREAT DAY. X
This mouth of mine is SO SORE! I’m trying everything but nothing is making the pain budge.
I have called my dentist now to make a emergency appointment and got told that they shouldn’t be helping me because I’m supposed to be under the care of the hospital for 10 days after the surgery. I don’t think these parties quite understand when your in pain the last thing anyone wants is to be pushed from pillow to post.
I’ve also managed to catch a viral infection. So feeling really sorry for myself. Food is still a no. And the shakes are costing a small fortune.
However, I’m sick of just sitting around doing nothing but focusing on the pain, Therefore I’ve made all necessary appointments, Tidying the house from top to bottom and fitting in my dentist appointment.
Made OH a curry in the S/C and he liked it so much, He wants left overs today. So that’s him sorted.
Off for another shake now. Speak soon all xFuture goals:

(((Hugs)))) princess. Hope the dentist will see you.
I am so cold and bored. Stuck in dining room with nothing really to do. Should have thought of this and brought mattress and blanket down this morning. Can't get to anywhere else and heating turned off as they are hot working. Windows open so I am freezing sat here. So much I could be doing it's frustrating to say the least. Have v turned drier on for a bit hoping some great will head this way
Oh the irony of getting a day in to do nothing and I am wasting it.0
