It concerns me that Aldis may have the same approach to the Health and safety of their customers and staff as they have to customer care.

It would seem to be the case - According to there official Facebook page, Aldi ashington northumberland are selling old peculiar beer that is best before 30th Sep this year.

and then you have people parking in "mother and child" bays with no child in sight: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153337932955145&set=gm.529158110497866&type=1&theater and https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10151734030987826&set=gm.551046001642410&type=1&relevant_count=1

    and just 9 hours ago:

"We accept debit cards, however we currently do not accept credit cards due to the charges associated with them and our commitment to keep prices low for our custoimers. We hope this answers your question. Thanks, Aldi UK Facebook Team". We know this is false as they accept credit cards in Berwick Upon Tweed in England!

they accept credit cards as well in Scotland and parts of South Wales. According to their website and instore signs they have a Debit Card only list which does not include VISA and Mastercard Debit cards.

So a car is parked in a parent and child bay which what appears to be a male in the driver seat?

The mum and the child have gone in to get shopping with dad staying behind to listen to the football/rugby/radio?

And why South Wales and not North Wales?

Parent and Child spaces should be painted out and changed to disabled bays and then no total idiot parents would actually believe they had some sort of right to a special space. It's the supermarkets' fault that dimwits don't know there's a difference in the legal right of a disabled bay and the gimmick of a 'P&C' space. How small-minded is the mad person who took that photo of the P&C space.

It would be amusing if they went into the store to complain, "There's a car outside parked in a C&P space, but no child in sight!".

Kind of like the flak I get when I go and pick-up my disabled father. Comments are usually along the lines of "These are for disabled people, you don't look disabled to me!" and "Disabled my ****, I'm reporting you!". One of them even fetched a parking attendant, I advised him to wait whilst I fetched my disabled father, then he apologised.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Same thing used to happen to me when I collected my late mother at Tesco, in her wheelchair. Pathetic small minded brainless idiots.

I don't know what is worse, those who think you have to have a Blue Badge at Supermarkets to use a disabled bay (just because the signs wrongly say so) or those who think that they have a right to parent & child bay and, if they are full, they are dumb enough to use a disabled bay.

Oh yes, I have read that drivel before. Made me laugh!

Surely there must be some journos who would realise that P&C spaces are just a gimmick, like Clubcard & Nectar points, designed to hook people into Supermarket loyalty.

Unlike disabled bays which are there as a reasonable adjustment under the EA.

It's not difficult to understand the huge difference is it? And people who take a photo of a car in a P&C space with NO CLUE as to where the child might be (e.g. in store with the mother, as already suggested) are a waste of air.
