Two more ex-customers of Aldi have just popped up on the Facebook page complaining of receiving PE's love letters. When are Aldi going to get it into their thick heads that they are losing customers and creating a PR disaster over this matter? What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Probably about the same time that they realise that having an aggressive attitude from their staff about this. People will continue to complain for as long as they have these scammers mismanaging their car parks. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

I'd hate for this to be off the first page and thus Aldi think they're being let off the hook !0

The forum has been very busy today, so any thread, including one as important as this Aldi thread, will quickly slide down the slippery pole without ongoing input.
Well done Hovite on keeping this 'live and kicking'.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

And that kind of publicity can't be great in the run up to Christmas
:xmassmile0 -
Personally, I wouldn't go anywhere near here at Christmas. It's chaos in a small car park (which they tend to have) means that finding a parking space - and don't forget that PE have already taken your entry picture at this point - finding your pound for the trolley, clambering over all the crates and boxes abandoned in the aisles, checking for out of date goods, making sure there's no worms slugs or mould on the goods you're buying, queuing up for ages, then find the till closes when you start to put your items on the conveyor, then find a new till and have your purchases shunted through and chucked at you, then required to collect them all up and pack them on a shelf at the front of the store, put them back In your trolley, return to your car, transfer the stuff into your boot, take your trolley back, get your pound refunded, go back to your car and try to exit the car park onto a seasonally busy main road, then have your exit picture taken by PE, all in the space of 90 minutes. Then go home, wait a few days for your Aldi/PE 'Christmas card' card to arrive in the shape of a NtK.
A merry Christmas from us all at Aldi and the rest of us in Chorley. Yuletide peace and glad tidings to all men (and ladies!) - Amen.
PS, phew - sorry for the ultra-long sentence at the start of the post. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

PE are not just ticketing Aldi customers, they are ticketing store staff as well.
The son of one of my work colleagues is under-manager at an Aldi store and has received more than his fair share of these tickets.
Seems to keep Aldi HR dept. busy.Never Knowingly Understood.

You would think the penny must have dropped with at least one of the big Supermarkets by now wouldn't you? Surely someone has realised they need to scrape off the parasite and get their customers back?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
