just thinking last night , parking eye have between 730 and 850 car parks to look after, I would estimate at least 400 of those contracts are at aldi,s 500 shops .


IF aldi were to boot them out , it would almost halve there income/turnover ,

Surprise, surprise. ALDI seem to have don a "co-op" and have written a cheque for £40 to pay back the gentleman. I wonder if they are going to claim that money back from PE?

Probably claim it back somehow from head office as 'expenses'.

Yet again this shows the failing of PE's so-called "car park management" system. If there had been an attendant actually in the car park who could have used their discretion.

Rather worrying additional comment made by this lady, which was when she spoke to the Parking Department

They could even tell me that he was a regular customer and how long he normally stayed.

How would they know that? Are the Vehicle Reg and keeper details obtained from the DVLA for the supposedly reasonable cause of having breached car park regs. perhaps being passed to a third party and used for un-sanctioned purposes? mmmmmmmm :cool:

Sounds to me like anyone who has had a parking notice from P E needs to be requesting under the data protection act what info Aldi holds about them and what purposes it is being used for
