I'd say that's a good deal for a few years caravan parking - all fully above board and contractual and well!

Well they did not like the picture of travellors caravans parking on their site, it disappeared.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I have been doing a little digging and would you believe it, one of the Aldi groupies who has posted today and a lot in the past is in PR and is a past employee of guess who? That's right, Weber Shandwick. Got me thinking about the groupie posts. No, I'm sure I'm wrong.........0

Just cos they've got traveller trouble doesn't mean they don't need forum 'advice' from us - so saved this from a descent onto page 3.
Purely on the basis, as you will agree with me, the two Rachels really wouldn't want to be appearing on any page 3Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Latest from Facebook.Pete 'Sprog' Baughan
Aldi Fareham; I have been hit with a PCN from ParkingEye for dropping my partner off (outside the car park) twice in one day, and I'm being charged for 4 1/2 hours! This has happened before to an elderly lady in Fareham and was reported in The News, so I'm livid I have to waste time proving that I (and my car) were at my place of work!

Pete 'Sprog' Baughan (First letter to them) To Whom it May Concern,
With regards to the received PCN, I can confirm that I was, and am the only driver of this car, but did not park in this car park for the 4 hours and 49 minutes identified in the PCN and therefore DID NOT ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH YOU; I was simply dropping my partner off before her start time of 8:30 in the AM and 13:30 (end of lunch break) in the PM. She works at xxxxxxxx, directly opposite the car park. Between these times, the car was not present in the Aldi car park as CCTV footage will undoubtedly show. Myself, and the car xxxx, was in fact at my place of work during the accused time window. Please review your photographic evidence and you will see that the first photo (with my steering on full lock in preparation for the turn):
Arrival Time: 20/11/2013 08:22:13
Will be immediately followed by another (08:22:14 perhaps) showing the rear of my car (having just made the exact same maneuverer later in the day).
You will also see that the second image:
Departure Time: 20/11/2013 13:11:54
Will be immediately preceded by another image (13:11:53 perhaps) of the front of my car.
I notice that these images - not present in the PCN - were not taken into account when reviewing this alleged incident. I regard this as negligence on your part - you are not doing your job properly. It appears the system that Parking Eye uses is not fit for purpose, as one of my colleagues helpfully pointed out this is not a unique instance of this happening, as covered in the Portsmouth News here:
http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/.../grandmother-fined-70-for...
I have full intention of contacting The News about this incident also.
However I have no intention of supplying supporting evidence to you unless Parking Eye is willing to enter into a contract with me. Should you wish to do so, you will be invoiced for my, my partners, my company's and an Assistant Manager's time at Aldi (a close friend) in supplying:
* ISO Accredited security access logs showing that I was on my work premises during the alleged time of contravention, with car.
* CCTV footage from the Aldi car park showing that I simply turned round
* Timesheet from my partner's Dentist Clinic
* Statement from my colleagues at work
And of course, my Solicitor's time in collating this information correctly.
Given that I performed this maneuverer 5 times during the course of the week 18/11/13 - 22/11/13 I trust you will return to your DVR systems and confirm that I was not in breach of a contract that I never entered into.
I would like to receive imminent confirmation that this matter will not be taken any further.
Kind regards and thanks in advance,

Pete 'Sprog' Baughan Further to my previous correspondence and receipt of a letter stating that I had not provided sufficient evidence to you with regards to this false PCN I spoke to one of your colleagues at 9am this morning.
She reviewed my appeal (which had obviously not been read when the letter went out to me indicating the decline) and advised that I send a letter from my employer stating that I was on site at work during the time you are apparently charging me for.
To reiterate, I turned round to drop my partner off at work in the morning, and at lunch and did NOT park in the car park nor enter into a contract with you.
Please find attached a copy of said letter and a copy of my electronic access logs showing that I WAS NOT IN THE ALDI CARPARK - AND NEITHER WAS MY CAR (unless I managed to walk 2 miles in 8 minutes making me the fastest man on Earth).
I look forward to receiving confirmation that this PCN will not be pursued, fruitlessly, by ParkingEye.
Kind regards,
Pete Baughan

Pete 'Sprog' Baughan Can you please pull some strings to show you, as the landlord of the premises can instruct ParkingEye to use some common sense?
And bump, perilously close to page 3 :eek:0 -
^ That's me. I am livid to be honest that not only are PE incapable of error correction in their imaging - or any manual flags that would indicate that the evidence from their cameras may need to be reviewed by a human - but that in the case of there being a genuine mistake on THEIR part I have to jump through hoops to prove that THEY are wrong!!!
For a bit of background, I turned round directly outside Aldi in Fareham (see Google Street View for this) opposite and have done this numerous times. I did not park in their car park outside of the allotted time as:
* My partner works opposite
* We both use Aldi regularly and (in possession of both eyes and IQ) are fully aware of the regulations
* I was actually at work for the 4 1/2 hours they accusing me of. And my keyfob access logs from work have been countersigned by HR and sent to PE.0 -
Send them a PCN (Personal Costs Notification) for the time you have spent responding to their spurious invoice. £18 per hour seems reasonable.0

First ParkingEye Gate,
Then Tablet Gate,
Now Serrano Ham Leg Gate,I refer you to: http://www.which.co.uk/.../consumer-protection-from... under: Misleading Actions which include "offering just a few items at the advertised price with no hope of meeting large demand."
Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 - Which? Consumer Rights
https://www.which.co.uk
The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations protect consumers from unfair trading tactics and ban misleading omissions and aggressive sales tactics.
Yet more rules and regulation Aldi are willing to ignore?
Apparently, as well, someone is complaining that Aldi are charging 20% vat on women's sanitary products when it should only be 5%.0
