Just got a feeble "thanks " from the pr mob.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -

Just when you think it's safe to go back in the car park.
'I just got a parking ticket from Parking Eye at Aldi in West Kirby for overstaying by 9 minutes! They want £70 or £40 if I pay straight away- they have two hopes and Bob Hope just left town. Morrisons is just round the corner, has a very safe car park and is cracking value too. Easy decision.'0 -

The more who take this decision, the better. :cool:Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Theres one thing that appears to be happening with parking eye:
wherever they crop up there almost always appears to be trouble and bad PR for who ever is naive enough to let them loses in their car parks, fvrom the lake district national parks, to somerfield, Aldi, the Range, Burton Hospitals, and so on.From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"0 -
From the Parking Prankster's Blog.
A Carol for ALDIParking wenches last looked out,
From Aldi towers in Swindon,
Charges scattered all about,
Deep and crisp and even.
From customers queued at the pumps,
Gath'ring winter fu'el,
Queue was long, they got a charge,
ParkingEye were cru'el
Now they want their pound of flesh,
Canny folk appealed,
Aldi didn't want to know,
But POPLA soon repealed.
So the night is darker now,
And the wind blows stronger,
Capita are quite bemused,
Have they bought a ponger? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
