I am a bit wary over Parking Parnkster's latest blog regarding Belinda's two different surnames. She could have got married (or divorced) between those two witness statements. Hence the two names.
Edit. Parking Parnkster has now realised his error:-

Was watching an Aldi advert last night where they are shouting the "Which Supermarket of the year" all over the place.
I'm wondering if Which takes the parking management and lack of customer service into account when making an award?
Could it be worth a whole bunch of people asking Which if they could take the parking issues etc into account when making the award?
As I said, just an idea. Wonder if it could make a difference and if it was the difference between the supermarkets, coming 1st or 10th in the awards that it could potentially change things.0 -
Just posted of the Facebook page,Dear Aldi,
Following my recent complaint on Aldi UK on 3rd Nov regarding a parking invoice from Parking Eye for 12 minutes overstay with a Blue Badge on Aldi car park.
At your request I contacted customer services and you cancelled the parking charge with the promise that Parking Eye Management Team have confirmed that the cancellation notice will be posted to me in the next few days. That was 2 weeks ago and I still havent received it. Instead, I have received YET another letter from parking eye demanding £100.00! Why?
I am appalled in the way that Aldi customers are being treated.
Your bullying tactics from YOUR parking management company is dispicable and although you have said the parking charge has been cancelled it clearly hasn't??
Both Aldi and Parking Eye are clearly in breach of the Equality Act 2010 for failure to make reasonable adjustments for disability. BPAs Cod of Practice states that grace periods should be granted on both entering the car park and when exiting after the relevent period has expired. The Equality Act enables reasonable adjustments be made for protected characteristics such as disability which in my case should have enhanced any time frame due to the nature of my sons disablity.
I am unable to contact your parking management team as there is no contact number given and Aldi customer services are very busy! Please sort this out.......0 -

Plus the fact that the BPA CoP clearly states that cars displaying Blue Badges should not be ticketed. How can they possibly comply with this requirement of the CoP with ANPR cameras? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. As I started this thread in June, I thought it would be good if I could write the 1,000th post.
So here it is :j:beer::j
Thanks to all the posters to date - and the party is only just starting for Aldi/PE.

I really think Aldi must be spitting feathers about their facebook page PR disaster, but I suspect they are stuck with PE under a contract they have perhaps been reminded out by suits at PE.
The words 'protection' and 'racket' spring to mind with any PPC really.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
