    Morning,

Rain here again today. Drat. I really wanted to do some washing and have it dry as we are on the road again tomorrow. I will have to take the dirty laundry with me now. We have a wee cottage booked in Wales for a week and it has a washer so I'll do it then. I got everything sorted & booked yesterday :j and very happy that I got great bargains. We arrive back in Oz on 23rd June so a bit over 3 weeks away. That will give DD enough time to clean up.:D

Having lunch with DNiece & DH as we won't see them again now. I *think* she is going to tell me she is pregnant and I will have to suitably surprised but DSis told me 2 weeks ago. ;) :shhh:

Tink I'm sure you've done the right thing. Good luck with it all.
Cat & Snowy Hope you get a good night's sleep tonight.
Queenie Car sounds great. Well done for the great buy & exam results.

Well better make a move. We leave the caravan this morning. Will go home repack. Have a nice day everyone. Byeeeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Congrats Queenie:T - good to hear you so up beat. You seem to be having a great week. Care to pass some of the luck over this way? I'm so glad when things go right for people who deserve them (or seem to, I'm always conscious that behind your screen you could be a mad axe murderer, or similar:D;) )
    ......
Raining here again. I am fed up with the weather, it is June on friday isn't it? Not February - Queenie, have you been messing with the thread dates again?:D
Who *told* you!!!??? (Bet it was that cheeky frizz head telling everyone my secrets - no more Visiting Orders for her!! :naughty: )

:rotfl: Nah, I save that for my November 5th treat ;) :rotfl:

Good luck at the Dr's - you are *not* wasting their time!! :naughty:
Sending heaps of posi vibes for your interview, I'm sure you will do just fine (quick checklist: have you done your research for *that* position? Have you made sure you can 'evidence' your experience/quals? Remember to spend 5 minutes on some "Triangle Breathing" before you walk into the interview = breathe in to the count of 3, exhale to the count of 3, do that 3 times = instant calming/stress relief ;) )

Congrats Tinkerbell on making the decision
thanks to racyred for the cute pictures
congrats to Queenie on the exams

For the Lavender Ladies - tesco do the tisserand lavender at 4 quid or thereabouts - be careful though as it comes out fast and you only need a drop - for those who don't like the smell maybe herbaholic could help with an alternative. I have been wondering about moggins ... did she change her name or is she just not around at the moment?

DD's infected foot is still spreading but is not tracking up her leg and her temperature has stabilised at 98.8 - I will make an appointment with the doctor today and hope for the best as there was talk yesterday at the hospital of her being admitted. I am surprised that no one is trying to identify what bit her - she's not allergic to anything AFAIK but she does only have one kidney which affects her immune system slightly. Well I must phone my boss - have a good day

    Hi every1,

I'm not feeling tearful this morning:T

Lazy morning so far for me - I've been up about an hour and have had my caffiene fix and done DDs bfast but not alot else:o

Tink - Hope everything goes OK at work for you
Queenie - Happy b'day to your DS - not sure if it was yesterday or today but Happy b'day anyway!!

My parents are looking after DDs for a couple of days. I'm stressing about it (as I do everything) coz they are over 60 and only got back from France last night and then are driving a 7 hr round trip to pick them up. Its only til Friday so I suppose I'll live but don't really want DDs so far away from me. On the other hand it will be nice to have a lie in on Fri morning!! Benson's got his op tomorrow (going to have the snip) and I've got to drop him at the vets for 8.30 a.m. so no lie in tomorrow. I'm going to go swimming after I've dropped him off.

Anyway, thats tomorrow:rolleyes: Today, I need to have a quick clean around the rooms parents will see and then sort out washing pile whilst packing kids clothes and watching kids in bath. Then will get them out of bath, plait their hair up n dress before giving the bathroom the once over. I also desperately need to clean the car. I can't reach it with my hoover so am going to take it to the garage and hoover it out and then wipe the inside down. Benson needs a walk at some point but its tipping down and he attacks the windscreen wipers with a vengence!! and I've also got a gardener coming to give me a quote this morning and have got an appointment at 3.30 p.m.

First of all another coffee:T while I pack DDs lunchboxes for the long journey.

Hope every1 has a good day and :grouphug: to those who want/need them.

    Luv Jxx

Racey if you are reading this... do you watch springwatch ? bbc 2 each evening at 8pm... they are asking for people to let them know about wildlife in their gardens ect... thought it would be amazing if you sent in some of you pickies.

Yup, I've been watching Amie :D . Thats an idea, maybe I should send some in, I'll have a look in the album to see what might be suitable. Did you see the gosling pictures from last night? I was like a kid in a sweet shop when they turned up :rotfl:

Hester, got any pics of Thumper and Ogden? I'd love to see please if you have?

Jet, glad you are feeling better this morning. Re AD's, I resisted them when I was prescribed them, but when my Dr explained that they were like bridge menders, fixing the connections that had broken and caused depression until my body could do it for itself again. I gave it a go and was very glad that I had. Althought you hear the horror stories there are many more success stories which don't get the publicity. The important thing to do is go back to the GP if anything at all concerns you about the treatment. Prozac takes about 3 weeks to kick in.

Queenie congrats on the certificates and the car.

Stefejb, I hope DD is on the road to recovery now, that sounds sooo painful!

Sorry guys, it's past time I was out of here, I'll catch up again later.

Good morning everyone. I've slept well, but woken up muggy-headed. Maybe too much sleep :confused: Beautiful day here, so washing will be on the line, soon. Chimney sweep is coming this morning, then he's coming back later to service my Rayburn. I need to go grocery shopping, then to the butcher and farm shop.

Hope the weather lasts - DS and I will go for a long (13mile ;) ) bike ride, then some time in the garden. Flylady will have to wait :p

    Morning all,

Just a quick post this morning while I drink my coffee as I’m running late and ds2 needs organising.

Once I get him off to school I have paperwork to do. :( It’s the only part of my job that I don’t enjoy, so instead of doing it on a weekly basis I leave it all until the end of the month and then get myself into a terrible fluff! I really do need to learn to be more disciplined! Anyway, it’s a glorious day so I’ll sit in the garden to do it.

This afternoon I have to nip into the office to get some hand sanitizer, come home and make pizza’s for tea to use up some veg and mozzarella cheese, take the children to Scouts and Beavers, and then I’m off out to work again.

With luck I’ll get some gardening done in between times…we had a threat of frost last night so I had to lift all the plants that are in pots and might suffer into the kitchen. All three kids said the same thing when they got up this morning…"the kitchen looks like a greenhouse!".

Ok, better go and put the plants outside and start my day…

    Have a good day everyone.

Queenie - Congrats on the exams and the car! :T You must be feeling on cloud nine right now! Wouldn't it be lovely if we could zip up those feelings of elation and get them out on 'black cloud' days.

PP - Sent you a link on msn at the weekend, not sure if you got it, Grabbit tickets for High School Musical on Ice here. That's my DDs present Chrimbo pressies sorted. ;)

I'm off to work shortly, but thought I'd have a quick read through. Not been posting in here for yonks, which hasn't stopped me reading I hasten to add, but I noticed I had got a few mentions last couple of days so thought I'd post a bit.

I got a promotion at work in April, which has resulted in me working longer hours as I'm now responsible for people! Absolutely loving it, but am working crazy hours trying to make it all work. On the mornings when Mr Frizz can drop DDs at school, I've been starting at 5am, so that I can still finish in time to pick them up. I really don't want to go full-time again, as I want to spend as much time with the DDs before they get to that independent, wouldn't be seem dead with their mum stage! ;) It half term this week, so I'm relying on my parents and in-laws. Last night I got in at 9pm as Mr Frizz picked them up from his mums when he finished work. We eventually ate at 10pm.

Anyway must dash and get my DDs out of bed - they are loving the holiday lie-ins. ;)

    Have a great day all.

    Frizz :D
