However... I don't iron. Nothing nada Nowt sees an iron. (Except shirts which my OH irons for himself). So I only wash it, bung it in the dryer and put it away again.

I never iron either, but some of my clothes have to be ironed - work shirts, and court collars - and OH does all the ironing in our household <smug>

I remember talking to my Granny before she'd even met OH, near the start of our relationship, and mentioning that he'd ironed a shirt of mine for a debating competition. She said "hang on to that man!", and I have (-:

I've not read the whole thread but if there's any more of their nonsense, tell them they can only use the washing machine on odd days, you'll be using it on even days of the month.

Time limit is on no later than 11pm, not on before 7am.:)

  • I can't beleive no one has thought of the fact that he might be allergic to washing powders!!
A friend of mine is constantly washing, as her kids are VERY allergic to washing powders, so she washes their clothes twice, (the whole familys, as its a contact thing) once with detergent, then again without to remove the detergent residue.
Please excuse my bad spelling and missing letters-I post here using either my iPhone or rathr rubbishy netbook, neither of whch have excellent keyboards! Sorry!

She might find it easier to use the eco balls instead of detergent. It's not detergent that gets clothes clean, it's a pounding action.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

I think you're normal btw... Especially pjs but I can't sleep in "dirty" pjs, they're next to skin as I don't wear underwear under them. So I have fresh ones every night.

Who would wear underwear under pyjamas?
