For the kitchen.. splashback for the cooker and about 40cm above the worksurfaces and the window sills.. 6m square in total so about £300 worth of tile but I've had naked walls for 7 years and every time I save the money it gets eaten by other more important stuff :(

Well, me likey. Will you have white units? I love the monochrome thing, as long as its not too much black IYSWIM. Very classy without making a room too dark.
    Good choice!

no, the units are beech.. but I have a black slate floor and the work surfaces are blue pearl granite.. the walls are currently blue.. and in need of repainting so I might get all OTT and just white those when the ceiling gets repainted

My kitchen is huge and has lots of windows so not dark at all.

    Evening all

Well I went and got the bistro table & chairs - it's lovely and best of all it was already assembled! :j Actually another bonus was for giving bee & que my email address I got 15% off :money:

Then went and got some new trousers for the paid stuff. Then went to Dune!m and got a blind for the sun room down from 25 pounds to 18.19. (don't have a pound sign on my netbook)

    Flying wise

Further 2 WM done - all hung on indoor line and thankfully dried and ready to iron. Will do that after posting.
LR, kitchen, hallway & sun room hettyed.
    LR furniture waxed
    Blind put up
Box from bistro set and old blind taken to the dump

Treated myself to a couple of hours 'Me me me Time' today on a craft project that I was quite satisfied with. All I had to do to finish it was press it all under the cutting mat, which is under the keyboard in front of the computer screen. So, I'm tidying up paperwork, sorting it out into Urgent, By Next Week, By Mid-July, Toots piles and

    BANG

over goes the 'Treat yourself - it's Saturday G&T' and floods the desk.

Craft project is now carp, and even worse, my glass is empty. *sigh*
    Better is good enough.

Not been here since November.. so no.. not seen her!

Kitchen 1/3rd mopped... just while I made that long awaited cuppa.. I'll do a bit more later.. that 1/3rd makes the rest look really disgusting.

I have cleaned the kitchen and football is still on. OH is snoring but the boy who does nothing is watching it. GRR

May have to tackle some hot spots to calm down.
