Just did HH paperwork - receipts, renewals paperwork and bank statements filed. Last year's payslips in shredding pile now that P60's have arrived. Filing tray now empty.
I wasn't anticipating doing all that, but as I am too tired to move and go clean something, I picked a job that is here right next to the computer, not involving any more movement than stretching out arms for the relevant file.
I would say that I have no social life too obviously!Decluttering junk and debt in 2016
Debts - Vanquis £3500 1/1/16; DFD - when I'm dead with £100,000,000+ interest  UPDATED Feb 2016 £2739.80; DFD June 2016 :j
Next - £1500 1/1/16 DFD about 10 years time. UPDATED Feb 2016 £1371.16; DFD July 2016 :j
THE GOAL IS TO HAVE NO DEBT BY THE END OF 20160 -

I think this is exactly what he needs to do, or go off in a different direction. We are not sure if it is references that were the problem (he quit his previous job, but there may have been a discrepancy of sick days between what they said & what he saidIt's a long story - but he is starting counselling next week) or it may have been the outstanding CCJ that he has
(his line of work is in the financial sector). If it is the second one we are a bit stuck as he needs a job to pay off debts! We won't get out of this mess if he doesn't work
Ok - looks like we are all saddo'sI have been spending my Friday night reading all the Nursery World emails that are building up in my inbox! They send the magazine out every fortnight, and still send out about 3 emails a week!!

Miss Muddy Paws has caused great whole house flying tonight as she ran in to the house with something in her jaws. A few hours later the wren was evicted. Walkin wardrobe emptied and painted as there was mould in there.
Bathroom ordered with a hefty discount
OH attended his long awaited docs appointment. He has been referred for counselling and has a prescription for some ADs.
Love to all x0 -
GI sorry to hear about DH's job. Would he be happy to ask for more details about what the problem was? I would imagine he has a right to know and it could help to pre-empt any problems in the future.
Packed up DS1 room and it's made me a bit sad, with him being out of the country and now all his stuff hidden away. Feel a bit anxious about the wall moving and if it is worth it or will spoil the bedrooms. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Thanks Dusty. He did ask, but they couldn't/wouldn't say specifically
It is a catch 220 -

That is tricky, I wonder if CAB could tell you if they have to say. Like a freedom of information thing. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

They have to tell you why you were unsuccessful and what reasons they have for not giving someone the job according to the persons I've spoken to at the college... it comes under constructive criticism and is meant to give pointers as to how to improve yourself in future.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
