Ok... I've not had that cuppa but.. I am going to throw dinner in.. if-it's and windmills tonight..
I am then going to organise Moomins bag of meds for the residential so I know they are done and sweep the kitchen, reload the DW, scrub out the MW and polish the cats!
This week I am going to look for the tiles for the kitchen before the entirety of DS3's backdated DLA disappears (I transferred a substantial proportion to his bank account and stocked up on his consumables so he isn't going to do without)LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi everyone,
hope all is well.
Didn't get anything ticked off the Friday list yet but I've spent quite a bit of time on other projects. I've redone the caulking on the step to the balcony, I've cleaned the washing machine and it's currently still washing away with the washing machine cleaner in there, I've gone into town and got a new toaster, a shoe shelf and an air bed and I've also placed my grocery order.0 -
Wm No. 3 on - 1 & 2 out on the lines. Kitchen floor swept and mopped.
All furniture in master bedroom pulled out and the skirtings & fireplace have been bleached. Floor hoovered, bed stripped and remade, windows and ledges washed down.
Bathroom has had a hoover. Can't clean the bath just yet as OH has put a new panel on it and caulked it in so everything is adhering.
There are skirtings to do in the study, DS & DD's rooms and down the stairs. Will make a start on these areas next. Hall walls could do with de-fingerprinting. Think it really needs a lick of paint tbh but really don't want to add another frog to my list right now.

Evening flyladies. Well, flying wise just the dailies for me today and very basic at that. After the tragedy of last week, we took a family day out today to recharge all our batteries and had fun being tourists in York. We laughed a lot and I think it did us all good.
Tomorrow will be a day at home. Flying wise, dailies, gardening if dry enough, a baking session and I need to make another dog bed (SickDog's fault). And I intend to spend some time just chilling with DH and reading the paper.
Hope everyone is fine.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
not got a lot done today so far
took the inlaws out for lunch and a mooch round a nice garden center half way to wales!! It was a pleasant trip but wash pooped afterwards OH was up half the night unwell which meant I didn't sleep eitherso I went back to bed!!
OH cooked pasta for tea and I've just made rhubarb and custard (from the garden)
this evening I WILL
dust the bedroom and change the bed
keep feeding the WM and TD (it's raining)
take DD her washing and probably stay for a natter and a coffee
push the hoover round-there is cat hair everywhere and it's minging
have a long soak in the bath!!
think about writing reports tomorrowGo hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last0 -
I may have found some tiles I love.. and they are cheaper than I was expecting... what do we think? *hopes pic works*
DD3 slapped for punching Tiddles.. she is a total b!tch at the moment I swear she is wanting burying in the garden.. I can't remember the last time she got a slap but if she thinks it is ok to hit her much smaller sister by the same rules it is ok for her to receive a slap from someone bigger .. And I have sent everyone to bed... including DS3 who is 14.. I have absolutely had enough today.
OH is playing dying swan.. he appears to have the upset tummy I had on Thursday and which Squeak and Dot have had for 2 days.. obviously he is so much worse.. big pink tart!!!
2 small pinks getting ready for bed and then OH will be making that cuppa.. while I finish knitting up the yarn I have for this blanket and make a start on a couple of cardies for the baby.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi all
Was out for quite a few hours so not much done. Didn't manage to get DD pumps but will try again tomorrow. Got both some holiday nightwear - she loves the nighties instead of pjs! Then met a friend for lunch and play, and not home till gone 3. Friend gave us bag of hand me downs so had a look through there - books and jigsaws as well as clothes :T
Made dinner, got gammon out to defrost for tomorrow, kids both got stickers for helping put away (all dolls to bed in cot or prams, all books away and all pieces in jigsaws) then we had silly half hour upstairs which involved rather a lot of screaming and running away from the dragon (me...)
They are now in bed, and its very quiet...
I did all the ironing this morning, plus kitchen stuff and washed the lighter bedding.
Have booked hairdresser for next Friday and said he might need to be brave! He seemed pleased and told me to find some pics and he would do his Edward Scissorhands  lolBossymoo
Away with the fairies :beer:0
