It's quiet on here tonight. Could it be that other people have a social life? :rotfl:Not me!!

This afternoon/evening I have updated all my risk assessments, done a fire drill with the kiddies and examined the bottom of a snail by letting it slide across Perspex :) What an exciting life I lead!
I am now going look at the sain$burys active kids catalogue to see if I can actually get anything with my vouchers this year. I didn't get that many, so I may just bank them. This is on my frog list, so it is, technically, flying :p

Just been getting littlies ready for bed. DD napped again hence the "late" night. We're all in my bed and it appears I'm having cupasoup for tea...

Mum has been and said "go for it" re haircut. Am going to call tomorrow!

I have done some stuff but the house is topsy turvy again :)

    Hi all

Apologies - I've only caught up with the last few pages

Been a busy week for me - new carpet fitted today in the LR and new flooring fitted in the sun room. The LR was decorated at the beginning of the year but the sun room was in dire need of repainting so I've been doing that each evening this week. The sun room is now looking a lot better.

Bossy have you thought about having some highlights put in your hair, they may give it some definition.
ionafan hope you're settling into your new home, it sounds like you're not wasting any time getting the house how you want it.
GI sorry to hear your DH was unsuccessful this time

Hugs, spoons & sticks to all that want them.

    Flying wise:

    DW on
    Landing dusted & hettyed
BR hettyed, dusted & clothes put away
Shower, sinks, bath & loos cleaned
LR hettyed after carpet fitters left
    Furniture put back in LR
    Kitchen hettyed
    sun room hettyed

Happy solstice to those that celebrate

    Deco x

Hi everyone - extremely shattered tonight and have developed a coldsore on my lip so a sure sign that I've burnt the candle at both ends.

Didn't do any flying yesterday. I came home from work just before 4pm and OH told me were were going straight out again. We went out with friends onto Derwentwater in the boats and canoes and landed on St. Herberts island for a BBQ. The kids went swimming (brrrrrr!) and the fellas did a spot of fishing. Rounded it off with a quick alcoholic beverage in their pub. It was just the tonic I needed as I've been feeling bleurgh :(and ARGHHHHH :eek:for a few days now.

Medicinal and better luck next time vibes being sent your way folks xxxxx

Monday ~ Living room, Hall and downstairs Loo
    Hoover/wipe the sofas
    Wipe some paintwork, skirting boards

Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Deal with a hotspot

Wednesday - Master Bedroom and Landing
    Hoover the stairs

    Thursday - Bathrooms
    Clean the bath and shower

Friday - Children's Bedrooms or spare rooms/rooms of Doom
    Wipe the skirting boards

Looks better condensed down. Me and DS are out in the morning to declutter some hair, but not much else planned. Some jobs to do in the house before friends arrive here in a week or two, but will need OH's help with most of it.

Have a lovely evening - I'm heading for an early night ......

Social life - nah not me - I've helped at sports day, been into town, cooked tea, washed up, been for a walk and put new buttons on DD1's duvet cover! Not really my idea of a riotous Friday night! I have just popped into the garden and seen a hedgehog!

Ionafan - glad to hear you are settling into your new home - hope the shoulder settles soon.

Goodintentions - can OH do something to put a gap between him and the last work reference - voluntary work maybe? Preferably something he would enjoy?

My sister has made it to Lands End for the end of the charity motorbike ride - no news yet on her other half...

    Bossy, that's so cute.

Well I'm done in for the day so think I will watch some comedy before bed. It was Mr Bean last night. CBA to do the drying up.

I'm planning a long weekend with DH and tomorrow is going to be a much needed family day so not sure how much I'll be on line over the weekend.

Hope everyone has a good one. Night night.

    What is a social life???

My house invaders have all bugled off so it is almost heavenly in here again.. I need to get the girlies washing in.. again.

The kitchen needs mopping again too, it is all icky and sticky!

I guess I should go find some food.. a tiny slice of cheesecake and a bowl of rice krispies does not grow a fat baby! :p
