  • Hello ladies,

I have had a bit of a lie in and so far I have

    made homemade nutella
    taken out rubbish
    put dry laundry away
    watered plants
    changed towels
    and
put on another load of laundry.

I'm convinced that the toaster I bought yesterday was a good investment. Surely using it instead of the oven to toast bagels will result in electricity savings. *fingers.crossed*

A bit of me time now and then I'll find something else to keep me busy. ;)

Right on Bossy, CY and Valli.

Craft project salvaged! Thanks for commiserations - I settled on drinking half of OH's bottle of red to go with the pizza, so it didn't work out too badly in the end.

I have been putting off giving the shower a really good scrub and doing the dusting all week. I absolutely hate those jobs. I am going to do them NOW.
    Better is good enough.

I'm kinda wondering if (a) there'll be an apology and (b) you will be thanked for funding your DS over all the period you were waiting for the DLA and not even complaining that the back pay doesn't include interest:p

Apparently the stalker has taken its bile to its own thread having a pop at me.. but it is still on ignore so I can't see it anyway.. pmsl... I love it when people begrudge children with lifelong disabilities and life limiting illnesses getting things they aren't eligible for instead of being happy their children are a picture of health and expected to live a normal life span and have children of their own.. I wonder if the troll realises DS3 will get free prescriptions for his entire life due to his illness as well as the DLA he can claim at the moment .. pmsl..

I don't want anything other for them to address the issues with DS3's claim and prevent it happening in the future..

went to see man of steel last night, very good and worth watching but £40 for 5 people to see it:eek:could have waiting for dvd to come out and had a drink and a take away at that price, no wonder it wasnt more than 1/2 full.

went carboot this morning but drizzly so was a bit of a wash out, did get some more dvds at 50p each it seemed rude not to;)

bought some new gold fish as well yesterday so tank is looking fuller and more interesting.

white queen tonight for anyone following that:T

notice someones mum didnt teach them the if you cant say anything nice about someone dont say anything rule.
back dated surely means something arrived later than it should so you had to spend money from else where doing something or paying for something that was needed so when the money arrived it can be used to do what you where planning on doing with your own money in the first place.

edit hm pizzas is in oven, not really planning any flying today but want to frame tinkerbell

Squeak and OH up.. now I vacuumed the hallway and stairs and middle room :p .. Squeak doesn't appear herself at all today.. again.. she has been all floppy and whiny and clingy for about 10 days.. no signs of any illness or anything just not herself... :(

Littlies fed and dressed and out in the garden getting muddy.

OH has a bookcase to sort and a chest of drawers to build and I am going flinging again.. see how much I can get gone out of the house today.. I really want to get through 5 rooms but it takes so long to get through it all! I need to sort the front half of the hallway but that will have to wait until OH has sorted his building as the boxes are stored there.

I may have to start in the girls room.. there are still maybe 5 or 6 boxes to sort through up there!!

Ooh... my lightshades need putting up on the landing.. another job for OH :p I feel like I am constantly nagging him to do all the jobs I would normally just get on and do myself!

We have shoes! Well, DD has...

Ordered some perfume from boots with my points - technically from mum for my b'day but she's going to put some money in a card or I'd probably end up with the wrong one...

Also went in poundworld, spent £11 on mucho tat.

I've to go back to collect perfume on Wed so will pick up some hol vests then.

The shower and the dusting have been done and I even prodded the lambswool on a stick thing around OH's vipers' nests of cables and books. My capacity to keep those areas clean does not equal his capacity to add tat to them, so I very rarely allow myself to even look anywhere near his bedside table, behind the TV or at the bookcase behind the sitting room door. They are positively grim, but as he shared his vino with me I thought I'd do something nice for him. :rotfl:

I'll vacuum tomorrow, before the carpet is knee deep in crud, so - before it even needs it. R is returning and he's bringing others who will require feeding if not accommodating - they've been farmed out - but they will need working meals here. I might even cart a bucket around and wipe down some paintwork. This Flylady thing actually works, eventually, doesn't it?
