Well your list of mods. Just read Chav mobile and add no value to a car that had no value to start off with.

To be honest £400 was a kind offer. I bet the engineer was shaking his head, having to do a report on the car.

Being a cat B. I stand to be corrected but I don't think they are allowed to let you have the car back.

So looks like its £400 and like it.

Look on the positive side £400 will buy you a newer better car than you had before.

Apart from the front Angel eyes, what says Chav mobile to you?
There is no bodykit, or spoilers added. It has quite the OEM theme going on.

£400 will get me a better car? Can you link me to a vehicle anywhere that does 65mpg, has had a small feature in a magazine and calender and has as many new parts fitted as mines, because if you can i'd be quite keen to view.

To bring this to a conclusion the final deal was negotiated today.

£465, my tax back (£40ish) and i'm being allowed to remove a few select parts of the vehicle so with the resale value of these parts approx £150.
Hire car gets to stay with me another week as well

    Its and old diesel car.

Lowered suspension, brake bias made me lol.

Smoked lights ( harder to see)

Rear wiper removed = chav. Why?

    Polished alloy parts.

K+N filter. That's top of the chav boys list.

Painted rear axle. I presume you have painted your rear drums of power also.

Flocked centre console in dashboard. Dare I ask what that means, or have you just spelt flocked wrong?.

Its boy racer/chav. The only reason its not got a body kit is because your only halfway through repairing all the rust.

Brake bias is adjusted because it has a load compensator in the rear axel. It's recommended unless you enjoy swapping ends when you stamp on the brakes with a lowered vehicle..

    Not with the upgraded bulbs.

It was a little rusty and i didn't enjoy the way it looked.
Are saloons chav cars on that basis?

Yes. The standard parts such as plenum champer, inlet manifold and abs pump have alloy parts. I prefer a clean engine bay to a dirty one and polished looks better than pitted to me.

I think you're mistaking my K&N panel filter for an induction kit. It adds no noise, it's merely a replacement filter for the OEM airbox but lasts the life of the vehicle since it can be cleaned and reoiled each service.

Of course. Bare metal rusts, didn't you know that?
Was there a point to this? They were painted black, not yellow which i imagine you have an image of in your head

    Yes, flocked.

No the reason it doesn't have a bodykit is because i don't like body kits. Is that too difficult to understand?

Your lack of knowledge suggests you have little insight to either modified cars, or people from the modified car community. You are making huge sweeping statements that are neither helpful, constructive or accurate.

Where's the £400 car better than mines?
I guess i should know better to take troll bait, but i was bored.

The road tax has always belonged to you and is not part of the deal.

They have in effect valued your car at circa £300 once you take into account salvage
