I got the best win of all today..just heard my son passed his uni course and will graduate in Nov.He went through hell at school with bullies but wouldn't let them stop his education.I'm so proud of him.

Am I making any sense at all or just being dense reading the terms and conditions?
I've done a couple on each ones I want to enter not long ago,
then I spread them across each day when doing dailies in the mornings, sometimes go back in the afternoon if I've time xplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -

Well done ILC! Double win!:T
indie - I am so very pleased for you - wonderful news re your son!!! Very well done to him :T:T:T Where there's a will there's a way!!
My lovely daughter also suffered from low life bullies at school, (through no fault of her own) but she also rose above it, (with my help and eventually the staff and head when they realised how very serious the problem was!!) She graduated at uni with first class honours, has a wonderful job, is confident, happy with her life and married to the man of her dreams and ........ the bullies (or should I say the main bully and her sad followers) are no where to be seen, gone and forgotten - past life

Thank you, It's not been easy as I have been a single parent for many years and at times like many mums/dads you wonder if your going to get there but we did.I just wish I had found comping years ago and we might have had some things most people think every family has but not everyone has got the funds for.But then who says I would be lucky then and won them...lol.0

Glad to hear that Alf...makes the struggle worth it. Just wish my sons school was as good at dealing with the bullies but that is all past now and it onwards and upwards.0

Great news Indie - well done to your son.
I was bullied at school and was always worried about my kids but luckily they could all stick up for themselves and others without any trouble.
Just had some cherries before DH eats them all. They are his favourite and if I don't eat some when he does they tend to vanish!
Managing to get quite a few comps done today for a change.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Now lovely ladies in The Inn - I just wish to pick your brains momentarily (housewife part:D) re washing and drying towels?:o
The weather has been lovely, fair enough, to hang out washing and getting it done and dusted. Wonderful!
However, I am finding my towels are drying as hard as bits of hardboard in this hot sun :o
Even the newer, fluffier towels are suffering!! Think of drying your wee bodies with sandpaper and you will be getting the picture
In the winter, in harsher conditions and when necessary, I put them in the drier and they come out nice and fluffy and soft but there is no way I am going to waste electric re the drier at this time of year.
What can I do??
Have tried googling as best I can but not getting much joy!!!
Much appreciated for any help. Ps, don't use fabric conditioner on them because I understand that could be a no no with towels? Not quite sure?
Any tips will be most appreciated. :T:T:T Alf xxxxxMILITARY WIVES CHOIRSHELP for HEROES0 -
