She's in good spirits anyway.

I think this weather has brought lots of different wildlife etc over Alfie. I can hear lots of noise in our loft too which I think could be bats. Hope it's not a bees/wasps nest, we tend to get a lot here! It's only a small loft though so I'm not going up there!

Fingers crossed your wee girl has a lovely time. :A I'm sure she will be fine, mind you I still worry about my kids. always did through the years, school trips etc and they are 'old' kids now and I am still faffing after them!

Bats are a protected species - my husband was terrified of them but I think it was the larger species that scared the life out of him. The bats we have here are tiny things, blink and you miss them.!!

Hey ho, cat and I through the hot clammy nights, early hours, (cos we can't sleep) watch them out of the window. They set security lights off and you can see them flitting around - just about!!

Think they 'hang around' local to here :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Don't mind bees and have had some taking over bird boxes in the past but am afraid I am fairly scared of wasps!!! Badly stung when younger and never quite got over it

Had a huge wasp nest in the shed years back. Must admit I was fascinated re the beautiful building and construction of the wasp housing ....... but left them to it ........ They eventually disappeared. Them big hornets are rather frightening I find, and we have a few round here, they are huge!!!!! - yes I am a wimp :eek::eek:

Been busy in here this morning!
We have just walked down the town to buy one or two things and got some raspberries and cherries which look lovely.
Had to post DS3s card to DS1 for him as he didn't have one bought when we sent DDs and ours off. Doubt it will get to Oz for Saturday though. DS1 will be 30, it is so hard to think he is that age and hate the idea no family will be celebrating with him. Expect he will celebrate again when DS2 goes in Sept though.
AA phoned this morning to say they are coming to see car windscreen at 3.30pm, I was sure it was Auto Glass who phoned to make the appointment for today first of all - confused.
Not nearly as hot here today but think it will be tomorrow.

Sure you have done well at interview wingo - good luck. How many jobs will you have if you get that one too?

ILC I won PG tips on 23rd June and they arrived 6th July HTH.

Took my ipad out in the car last week but took a cool bag with an ice pack and a frozen apple pie ( DH gets hungry all the time and pie thawed by the time we got back to the car) to store it in. Still got very warm.

Has anyone in the inn entered the Nisa/Loco 100 entries allowed comps and if so do you think it is one entry per day or could you enter a few or more times per day?

Am I making any sense at all or just being dense reading the terms and conditions?

My first Golden Grahams came 17 days later, but the second one is a week overdue and my third box should have been today, if like the first one.

Loved the Costa's wins as they came around the next day!

I got the best win of all today..just heard my son passed his uni course and will graduate in Nov.He went through hell at school with bullies but wouldn't let them stop his education.I'm so proud of him.
