:hello: Everyone,

hope all is well,I am fine today,had a nice shower and washed hair,then ate breakfast and then managed some ironing as the weather wasnt too bad and could do it.I am ready for the gym as usual.



I so wish I could do this but nothing would get done and I wouldnt be able to sleep at night.

Alfie - its too hot to be cleaning cars this weather, bet you are glad you have got it though. We don't use our all that much as the bus service here is excellent but wouldn't like to be without it.

Don't have much luck with doorbells. My latest cordless plug-in doesn't ring lately for callers (RM, Take-away etc) but ok when I press it!:eek:

Totally agree with you!!! I opted out of wired and got a cordless thingy. Did have a jolly circus tune thing on it, but that went and can't work out how to get that back and now have a 'Big Ben' thing going on!!! :eek: Sounds a bit spooky!!!!

It appears to work with neighbours etc but have had delivery people banging on the glass!!! Went out to try doorbell and it worked perfectly!!! Also had issues in the past with the push thing tho

Also another neighbour has the same system (lovely girl, doggy grooming business etc, such a sweet pea ........ ) ......... But, when peeps press her bell, mine goes off too!!! No wonder I get confused! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Nooooooo! You have to wait until the sun is over the yardarm :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Usually just past midday to my mind but could be wrong and when out at birthday celebrations, weddings etc, I have def broken the rules! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Sylv, I will only clean the car when it is cooler. It is a boon to me because sometimes the buses don't go anywhere near the places I love to visit (to rural etc) and that's why my lovely kids bought it for me last xmas, to give me my independence back. Loving the freedom :) xxxx

I should start swimming again really at my 'fairly' local pool/gym place - cheap sessions for errm persons over a certain age !!!!! May look into it again now I am lucky enough to have my own transport. Loved going there in previous years. xxxxx

Morning all :wave: I was a bit emotional seeing DD1 going off to Center Parcs with school today. I do hope she eats properly as she struggles in front of people. It was very clammy last night here too and DD got up at around 5am as she couldn't sleep! Hope she sleeps on bus.
Interview seemed very short but relaxed. I like interviews like that! It's only another temp job but hours are suitable for me.

Thanks for thinking of me Sylvia & Fred :kisses3: Things are starting to get sorted out now for both mum & DD Mum has put on 4lbs so is almost 6st again and she's had 2 pints of blood and starting chemo today I've told her I'm bringing my Afro or Tina turner wig up hospital! She's in good spirits anyway.

Has it warmed back up for you fire**fly? I didn't reply last night as hubby took iPad off me but didn't log me off mse! Hope you don't get a hosepipe ban. I think it's inevitable soon with these temps!

I think this weather has brought lots of different wildlife etc over Alfie. I can hear lots of noise in our loft too which I think could be bats. Hope it's not a bees/wasps nest, we tend to get a lot here! It's only a small loft though so I'm not going up there!
