I know someone who changed her car at a year and a half old. She bought it brand new, then changed it because she fancied having that model in white. The same person complains about rates bills and dental bills, and goes on about how her savings are going down. She doesn't work any more and is living off her savings.0

Your husband is living beyond his means at the expense of the two of you enjoying life together.
If I were you'd, I'd tell him it was me or a new car, and that if he bought another car, he could consider the marriage over.
How on earth is he going to cope when on a pension???
I'd make him sell his current car and buy a 8 year old diesel estate.
Put together a financial proposal of holidays and meals out instead of his current car.
Or tell him he now needs to contribute 50% so can't even afford his current car!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
I don't understand why he is buying a new car every time. In 2008 I bought a VW Eos brand new with all the kit on it cost me 26k back then. I had it 18 months when it started to develop problems so I sold it back to the garage for 18k.
I then went and bought a Jeep Patriot for 11.5k (second hand) I had that for 3 years when it started to develop problems costing me a fortune to fix it and finding it hard to get the parts for it, I part ex'd it against a Vauxhall insignia (which I currently still have) I had to put about a grand towards it.
Cars never gain money, why can't he just trade in for a car that is 12-18 months old?
