    Where is everyone today???
I'm still here reading, but I've had quite a full & stressful 24 hrs, with visits from next door's landlady (septic tank) the builder (who's back tomorrow) the Outlaws and 2 trips to garage + docs.

More later, if I'm still sentient......;)

  • Flipping Heck Alfie.... what a day!!!! and Davesnave.. I bet your head is boggled now....

Rummer, I haven't been near my sewing machine in yonks.. the ranch has now robbed me of my crafting time lol...

When I speak to the produce market organiser at the beginning of October, when he gets back from Hols I will ask him about Holly, and if anyone normally sells it at their market near Christmas...
in fairness, they do try and have a variety of stalls there, so it isn't all the same.. so maybe if I mention holly to him now, he might allow me to sell it as well..

Shame, the things you were making were gorgeous! Could that be another income stream for Christmas? Maybe have a year planner focusing on different business ventures over the course of the year? Those items could be made over the winter or in quiet times when the smallholding is not producing much and then sold at Christmas markets. That would spread the risk and give you variety. Of course it all depends on what you want to do ;)

Arrrggghhh! I now know exactly how alfie felt with BUHA and Pratt! :wall:

Let's just say the meeting re septic tank didn't go well. Indeed, it went so badly I found myself staring despondently at the title deeds last night, wondering how we could have signed up to a 'marriage' with that particular party......

But then I remembered, we didn't! There's a separate deed at the back of the file, varying the terms of the original with regard to access and drainage. I'd spotted factual flaws and our solicitor probably saw potential problems like the one we're having. :D

So we can go our own way if we choose to. :p

At the moment, however, we are just 'going with the flow' though not literally! :rotfl:
