Alfie You always have such wonderful things
If I were closer I would be calling on your talents to help refurbish my home. How are Ruby and the teenies getting on?
LIR We are just about to take our first tentative steps into jam makingThere are oodles of currants on our bushes and we are going to have a go at making some tomorrow I think.
Choille So sorry to hear that the track is proving difficult to repair. Hopefully you will catch a break soon.
Well today was another highly productive dayOnce again I battled with the giant spiky plants and managed to clear them all from one section at the bottom of the garden. Hubby's friend came round and helped us prop up the existing broken fence however new fence panels will be needed.
Next on the agenda is tackling the brambles at the bottom of the garden and I am unsure as to the best way forward. Do I dig them out or use weed killer????
In the house we are progressing well with the hall and may not need a plasterer, which would be marvellous. We have stripped most of the paper and it is looking better already. A few random large holes that will need to be filled and a couple of wooden bars above the windows to be covered but that is all. Then we need to think about flooring.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0 -
