Gunnera.
I like them. The foliage. ( not so interested in the flowers personally). I've always liked them. They grow like weeds one of the countries I call home too. But I was never there to see them flower.....so. Maybe that's the connection?

Lucielle - All the best today for you all. Hope it's enlightening.
Each year Mr Choille announces that we've got out Gonnerea back when it starts to grow again....the gunnera that is.
A female blsckbird must have smacked into the caravan window. I picked it up & it was crawling with maggots - it's that time of year I suppose.
