Oooooh LIR, just noticed you have one of the new MSE badges !

Urm, don't see that? I knew LiR was to get a badge, but I don't see it. What does it look like? Where should I look?

Love the pic of dogs by sea and brave person walking into sea. Archetypal summer! :) Thank you LiR for that - suddenly made me feel a lot less bad tempered! :) (been pruning roses and boring bushes in front garden)

The water was very warm, deliciously so. I've had, thanks to various plumbing or heating disasters, colder baths I'm sure!

    Glad it brought good cheer!

I went to [STRIKE]bed[/STRIKE] sleep early:o and missed the pic, but I got the flavour of it from the comments. Sounds like a good time was had by all! :)
    :D

For discussing what to feed hungover men for breakfast:o. Saying I really didn't want to do full English, and every one else saying it had to be full English.

Do you think I'd get one for suggesting hung over men can get their own breakfast, or if not, they really need rehydrating, so a bottle of lemonade spiked with salt for each one seems more appropriate. :)

Its MY kitchen, innit. :o. Its the temp kitchen, it makes sense to me, fir and ( almost but not really) to RP. It doesn't seem worth trying to give them a complex instructional for one breakfast.

Electrolytes sitting in a little silver bowl ready to be put on the table :), ready to swig, night before if they are wise and and breakfast whether or not they've shown wisdom.

Well, they still aren't getting full English.

I'm just not up to being on my feet all morning doing eggs how they want them and stuff.

Its going to be good, but more cosmopolitan. At least they know they aren't coming to a proper English house, and we're not giving them a dire Italian breakfast!

Alfie, found one of the things I liked in that garden

The images for cardoon when I google image search, some make me think it is that, the other thing, the others make me not sure. Either way, if there is a plant going begging any time I would love one. If its a cardoon I would be super excited. I have read and read the joys of eating these and never ever done so!
