I was beginning to feel left out, but we've just had a small storm lasting no more than 20 minutes.

The stream went from 0 to rushing torrent in that time, so a useful amount of H2O at last, but it will still be dry underneath.

Might not be the only one tonight, though.

Rain front has moved through in Glasgow; just heavy rain no wind to whip the plants about so some look a bit sad but should bounce back.

Loads and loads.

Davesnave was right, considerable disruption locally. We didn't know till we tried to step out of the bubble. We couldn't get petrol or anything, we'll get some tomorrow , to the south.

We have to choose new house phones, as we now know that's what took the lightning blast.
