Nature is hurtling “helter-skelter” through the seasons and after the wettest and stormiest winter on record autumn is already beginning to appear - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/topics/weather/10936528/Nature-hurtling-helter-skelter-through-seasons-with-signs-of-autumn-on-show.html

A picture not taken recently fronting the article, but yes, it's been especially interesting to the news media, because the South East copped it!

Here, in glorious Devon, I'd say it's been very tolerable compared with 2012/13, to say nothing of the windy years before that and winter 2009/10. :D

I'd noticedthe beech mast too. :)

EDIT: CTC, I sent you another PM....but your in box is full. :(

Most photos of the kittens are blurry, and so is this one, but it will do for now.....:)
The fluffy one is Fleur and the other one is Izzy. We think Izzy is smarter, but Fleur has a nice nature.

Some techies are like that. Their world is very rule-based and there's a correct procedure for everything. Trouble is, they often argue with each other over what it should be! :rotfl:

Rather whacked tonight after chasing around in the van trying to get my big mower sorted, then giving up on that and fetching the free roof tiles we were promised instead. :D

We managed two loads of around 145 tiles each, which doesn't sound much, but the load space in the van was twice completely covered with tiles standing on edge.

We offered to remove 600, so a few more to go yet!

Oh no, people can be very stroppy.

They don't understand that not everyone knows their way around.

    Yummy kittens

    Thanks Dave
Never get tired of kitten photo's. Soooo sweet.

It's lovely watching their little personalities develop. We put our kitties into the kitchen at night (otherwise they keep us awake racing around the house like the devil is after them) but Nelson is a so and so and Mr BD spends a considerable amount of time every evening trying to catch him. Have ordered some Dreamies to tempt Nelson into the kitchen when it's bed time.

    Sunny here today :D
It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.
